Maris Aylward (born Dimayuga) is a Filipina actress, TV host, and yoga teacher (RYT-500). In 2010, she moved to the U.S. and started her yoga teaching career in Kansas City. She was also a TV Host at Kansas City PBS for 3 years. Maris now lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband David and their two children. She is currently pursuing her Precision Nutrition coaching certification.

Thank you so so much! I had an operation many years ago on my left wrist, and as I made my way to the middleclass yoga, my left wrist hurts again so much. Now that I found your video I am so released and happy that I can go on doing yoga❤namaste!

It hurt but that’s because I have back problems and I’m 200+ lbs but I once my body gets used to to it it will be ok.

Oh no, you poor thing. That must have hurt a lot. I can imagine you were angry. I tore a medial lingament in my right knee after an accident on the beach with some dogs. I was furious. This happened 9 months ago and luckily I am recovering hence no kneeling yoga

I'm late to this but I had a frozen shoulder in January (I live in the UK) and had a "hydrodistention" shot - not surgery - but I guess a bunch of saline put into my shoulder and the relief was almost immediate. On the way home it started to feel better. I did physio then and within a few weeks had maybe 80% mobility again - and now (6 months later) I'm at probably 95% mobility. Not sure I'll ever get completely back to normal - but for anyone that this happens to- ask about hydrodistention : )

Oh my God the voice over has changed! I have saved this and used it so many times over the years, but the new version just doesn't hit the right note. Would really appreciate if we could revert to the old version 🙏

Love your videos. I’ve been practicing for 25 years but recently had a hip replacement. There are certain moves I’ve been told to avoid. I was wondering if you could do some videos geared to people like me who want to keep practicing.

Very nice leg strengthening flow! Glad I found this since I sprained my forearm and elbow uuggh. This flow made me feel kinda normal since it's my first yoga practice in a week and a half😁💙💚💜. 5/31/24
