Grow up. No such thing as net zero. The Climate IS changing due to Geo-physical forces. Stopping climate change is like trying stop a freight train with a 12 volt fan. A wind turbine takes 120 years to earn back the same amount of energy it took to build and install the stupid things. They only last about 15 years..... Ask any real Geologist or Archaeologist!!!

Moreover, solar and wind are not "green" when the materials used in their construction, use and subsequent disposal are taken into account. If 10,000 of these were placed close to the ice edge it would effectively lower the temperature of the water that is contacting the ice flow, slowing the melt during summer, increasing the ice build up in winter, and lowering the mean temperature of the region.
