In a world crowded with subpar entertainment in the form of thousands of mediocre gaming/theory channels on RU-vid, 10K Productions aims to continue the tradition- wait, no. I meant, we are to going be just as unremarkable as the rest. No, that's not right either...
Look, we make videos. We enjoy making videos. Maybe that enjoyment will show, maybe it won't. Stick around and find out for yourself.
Imma be real with you. Chuck Lorre Sitcoms have a painstakingly insufferable laugh track. Yes, even Two and a Half Men (the Sheen Episodes as well), but most of them have Heart, or in the case with TBBT, Heart, Mind and Soul. So watching both shows makes sense to tie up some loose ends. Although I prefer "YS" and "TBBT" over "Mom". But that is just me.
It's not even remotely a curse. First of all the cast were not that talented or interesting. Second they got so rich they never had to put any effort into anything ever again. Third of all they all chose, easy, low risk, high paying network gigs that were not challenging at all and were doomed to fail. fourth They did have some success, so it's not even a curse. How about the Mad About You curse or the Friends curse next.
I enjoyed the show until the love interests were introduced. Then it seemed to become the girlfriends berating the guys constantly and trying to change them, make them give up their passions and interests to be more ''normal''. It came across nigh on abusive.
Homie, your video is entirely an amp up and is paced like you're about to get to a point but you never do. It gave me a headache, you need to pace you script better
I cried at the series finale. There are still some threads hanging there at the end, but I like that they confirmed that Young Sheldon is based on an unreliable narrator. That the series is more of an idealistic version of his childhood.
The thing is when we are children we remember getting introuble more and we focus on the things that throw our world off. Sheldon would remember a quip about drinking mary complaining about his drinking as harsher from that lense given being a child and his ocd. Also im glad they fixed his family.
21:02 I’m watching this at 2am while high and this is the scariest goddamn thing that’s ever popped up on my screen I did not remember them looking this uncanny. It doesn’t help that this image was blasted in front of me during the scariest theory here which is definitely true btw also season 14x8 basically confirms Dennis Probably killed Maureen.
Sheldon is my least favorite character in Young Sheldon. That show did a really great job giving characters heart and soul.....Except for Sheldon who just came across as annoying and whiny.
i watched the finale and george never had an affair and Mary was mad at George and herself because he died also, sheldon claims he saw his dad having “relations with another women” but it was actually Mary!!
I heavily disagree Sheldon in TBBT was clearly traumatized by certain events in his childhood, most of which from a home where his parents fought and his siblings bullied him (we know this actually happened because his mom talks about the times she felt like killing George). The real failure of Young Sheldon is that it takes these events that gave him such depth and ignores them! Young Sheldon ruins the character in the past, and even manages to ruin older Sheldon by making him an asshole to his kids, which TBBT finale shows he was able to recognize how badly he treated his friends and apologized, but future Sheldon is now disregarding his own children! And the final nail in the coffin that told me this show has no interest in retaining the great depths of its predecessor was when they got rid of the fact that George cheated. Entirely. And he did cheat in TBBT cannon, because his dad saw him and they made an agreement never to talk about it, which wouldn’t have happened if Mary was there. TBBT had great characters and gave them great story arcs over 12 years; Young Sheldon meanders from season to season, implying big changes (John going to the mental hospital, Sheldon’s database, George and Brenda) but never does anything with them, the one exception being Georgie and Mandy. Granted, Big Bang did that for its first 3 seasons, and while its first season is probably its weakest, Young Sheldon’s is its strongest because it is very funny. Both shows get progressively less funny, but one of them became very narratively strong, and the other one undid that narrative
Actually, the issue isn’t really the content of Young Sheldon, but that it is a betrayal of The Big Bang Theory. I think the worst thing that sequel (or prequel) art can do is undermine the development of what came before. And, at least in the context of TBBT, these things were real and had depth, and now they don’t. Young Sheldon fails as a prequel because it takes away rather than adds
Well George didn’t cheat on Mary. I think Mary is angry at George for dying at the turning point in their life. She said so at his funeral. They were at a better place and things started going well for the whole family. She is also angry for not trying enough to have a better relationship with George while he was alive since she never expected this. So maybe she’s just coping and has been coping her whole life afterwards.
As a mother of a 31 year old son who has ADHD herself, and has a son who was diagnosed with both ADHD and Asperger's Syndrome, I always thought that Sheldon was "on the spectrum". I ended up only having one child due to my son's high level of needs, as well as my divorce and subsequent stint as a single parent, which began when my son was less than four years old. I understand Mary's "helicopter parenting" in a sympathetic way. I think that Mary saw how different and special Sheldon was, and worried about his ability to get along with others as an adult. While many see Mary's need to help Sheldon navigate his way through life as obsessive, I think it helped to set him up for success as a very gifted scientist who was able to live independently and attend graduate school halfway across the country at the age of 15 or 16. Unfortunately, Mary's over focusing on Sheldon left her other two children and her husband often feeling neglected. This was sad, but I think she was just a normal Neurotypical Mom who did her best to parent Sheldon, a very gifted and Neuro Diverse little boy who grew up to be a very successful young man and adult. I think that Sheldon's high level of giftedness helped him to succeed in life, even as it also further separated him from the rest of his family and "peers". (This was further reflected in Sheldon's feelings that he truly has no peers.) In turn, Sheldon never felt like anyone in his early life (except maybe his mom and Meemaw) truly understood him, leading to family tension later in life. I love the character Sheldon, and was so glad that they made "Young Sheldon". It really helped me to understand my son better. I'm going to miss this lovely show. SPOILER ALERT: BTW, I think that YS revealed in Season 7 that George did not actually have an affair on Mary. ❤ He did have a flirtation with the next door neighbor, but he backed away from that just in time to avoid a physical affair. The "incident" that Sheldon walked in on, that he thought was his dad cheating on his mother, was actually a "spicy" encounter between his parents after they spent a sumner apart. Mary and Sheldon had just returned from Germany, when Mary broke out with a German "costume" including a wig which she modelled for a very happy George. This costume lead to sexy interlude between George and Mary, which Sheldon interrupted when he burst into their bedroom without knocking. Sheldon saw his dad with a blonde woman, messing around in his parent's bedroom. He didn't recognize his mom and thought his dad was having an affair. (This episode also explained Sheldon's habit of always knocking three times before entering a room. In Season 7, Sheldon explained that he always wanted to give people time time to "put their pants back on" after this very upsetting incident.) The fact that Sheldon and his father never discussed this incident actually cemented Sheldon's belief that his dad cheated on his mom. This was very sad to me, as it colored his lifelong feelings about his dad, who passed away shortly after this incident. To me, his is just another of Sheldon's "misunderstandings" that lead me to believe that he is on the spectrum.
In the og pilot (the creepypasta lookin one😂) linda thinks bob gave her a ring because she finds one on the hands they are grinding up, and also jimmy choos on some chopped off feet. the cannibal thing could be great one off for halloween ngl, but I feel like somebody would probably get traumatized LMFAO
psych is my favorite show of all time. i watched when i was a kid with my dad and have continued to rewatch it today as an adult. it is my comfort show and i still find myself laughing and seeing something new from it. it deserves all the praise it gets and much more. i have never heard anyone dislike it even if it may not be someone’s cup of tea
I don't get what's the problem people nowadays just can't take things lightly they won't accept a protagonist who's a little smart and different with a prodigical mind except they would love the shows with pure non sense of people flying a magic castle etcc...! I just loved the show from my side comment who else loves it..
George doesn't actually cheat physically. Emotionally he developed a relationship outside his marriage but i don't think they actually had an intimate sexual relationship.
As far as peter being bi-sexual, remember the episode "The giggity wife" where quagmire asked peter to sleep with him to prove he's gay, peter said i don't know if its only you but I'm feeling something
they changed joseph twice i think. first he was a little kid voiced by britanny murphy, then they gave him a frowth spurt and changed his voice to breckin meyers, then he hit puberty and became really awkward. honestly he was a pretty boring character until he hit puberty
I'm honestly in love with this season. For one, not one single episode felt like a filler or a half hearted episode. And then it had 3!! episodes were I bawled my eyes out. The moment Bob said hello to his mom at her grave and was sorry she couldn't ever meet her grandkids hit so hard because it reminded me of sitting at my grandpas grave who passed not long before the season came out. Then the plight before christmas episode showed the huge character development Louise made. And then the last episode was a fantastic close to this season. Bobs burgers showed once again that you can tackle topics like feminism and toxic masculinity in a way that isn't pretentious or denounced. It just showed a little girl realising that beeing a hero you don't have to succed in everything and be the best, you just have to fight for what you love and believe in. And that is a great message for everyone out there, especially little girls who struggle to find a place in a men dominated world
