Here's how you cure your T1 diabetes: kidding.... I was diagnosed 1/18/1985, just after my 17th birthday. Had my 39th anniversary with T1 earlier this year. It most certainly fk's up your life! Those plans you thought you'd have: well nature thought otherwise. Good luck to you with your engineering field! I have a BSEE emphasizing CPU design, but do statistics for a living.
My son just got diagnosed ( 11 yo) he has dexcom 6and a pump- wich reads and goves insulin 24 hours a day ( its smart) pnly thing we need is to punch in the carbs he eat. - we all ( the parents and the boy) was in hospital for 2 weeks ( norweigian) where we needed to use a pen incase the pump goes out of action
My son ( 11) got the diagnosis this december, before senere symptomes though. Only eccesive thirst luckaly. He was to the doctor for some ADHD follow up - and I mentioned to the doctor hes thirst, thats hpw wr found out early and before dka❤
Hi, Sarah! Did you also feel like someone was sitting on your shoulders in the last clip where you were short of breath? A feeling like your chest is heavy along with your shoulders. Please stay safe and healthy going forward!
thank you for this vlog! its crazy how many symptoms we can write off until something awful happens i relate sooo much to this entire video and im also an asian girl. i hope your're doing better now post-diagnosis! i have prediabetes right now.
Yeah, I had a bunch of symptoms of it but my parents didn't think anything of it because I was 9 at the time and they thought I was just having a growth spurt, I was never diagnosed as pre-diabetic when I went into the ER they did the blood work and stuff and diagnosed me as type 1 diabetic.
Ik your probably not active anymore but I'm currently waiting for a blood test results for diabetes after having all the symptoms and shaking like crazy, so binge watching all your videos to learn more about t1d. I totally love your vibe and you sound so amazing and cool 💪
I have a question, I have been getting low blood sugar readings for the past 4 times I’ve been going to the hospital. Been experiencing blurry vision, disoriented, hungry all the time,I’d pee a lot more than usual, fatigue, confused, dizziness, shaky and trembling. If I start to feel the symptoms get worse I eat something really sweet. Really worried
I hope everything is working out fir you. Do you have a meter to check yourself? If you are on insulin maybe you meds need to be adjusted. Hopefully you’ll get this straightened out. Going low is very scary
@10:43 That sounds like self-inflicted torture at this point. @16:57 Not such a good idea in hindsight, drinking liquids containing fructose. 🤔 @18:22 Fortunately a rare thing, but very dangerous. @20:04 The best diagnosis is early in life while drinking and peeing like crazy because you have little to know idea how life feels without diabetes later on. @21:11 Not necessarily but not unlikely. @21:15 ... and rely on big pharma for your survival. 🥴
Congrats so happy huge support hope can be pen pal friends support bere not alone never let diabetes stop control win never alone support never alone all smae differnet expereince future better cure treatment raisr awareness so happy for you well done 😊😊😊
Thank you, I live in the US & have state insurance. (Confusing & Grateful, if that’s possible) I’ve had T1D for 40 yrs (2023) w/ a Disorder, (I found about 15 yrs ago). At times I feel like I’m failing. Yet I know I’m cable & able today. I joke a lot, both my parents were type 2, but I’m #1 (T1D) Stay Well. Thank you Again for this information on Canada’s prices for T1D & *some items for T2D* also👍🏼🩸🌱
Hi Lovely I am 23 years old and I live in New Zealand. I am a Type 2 Diabetic using Freestyle Libre and I am on the same insulin as you 😊 I have been a type 2 diabetic for 12 and a half years now
I thought my body would never be the same again, but you fixed it. My heartiest gratitude to you Dr Igudia for helping me cure my type 2 Diabetes successfully
I’m so much grateful to Dr Igudia on his RU-vid channel who cured my Diabetes disease with his natural herbs medication and I’m also using this opportunity to recommend everyone who also suffers from Diabetes disease to contact him on his RU-vid channel because his herbs are indeed very effective and cures diabetes completely.
omg the eyes part SAME it was so bad i couldn't keep my eyes open and how ur voice changed over time literally the same thing happened to me it was a nightmare lmao
I feel you on the part where you had to take tons of breaks on your five minute walk home. I remember having to sit down on a bench on the 50m walk from my doctors office to the pharmacy. Thank you for sharing your story :)
Hi so I'm 18 and I've had type 1 diabetes since I was 3 and I just want to ask were you told to use the longlasting insulin the same time as the injection before you had food?? Because I was told to use the longlasting one as soon as I wake up I have to reach for it and then an hour later I can inject insulin for food then eat 😅😅
