I kind of wish that beating Demi-fiend and Satan meant that all mantras became free to unlock and auto-mastered; the final bosses are easily beatable with setups that beat these two anyway, and it would significantly reduce the 100% grind for players who planned far enough ahead...
I looked up this video just to confirm a possible minimum level required for max magic on Serph, and the level in this video seems to confirm that if you use 2 of the 3 available Magic Incenses available at this point and rig the RNG to guarantee a bonus point on top of the 3 points awarded for level up, it's possible to get 99 Magic at a staggering level of 23. This is unrelated to the video, but I thank you for allowing me to confirm my calculations.
So it looks like at this point the optional fiend fights and other labyrinth shenanigans added on 11 extra levels. Do you think you could still do the hardtype Mot at level 40 like you were in the original and the first hard low level?
I hate the Take-Minakata encounter SO MUCH. It's not even hard unless you've got a bunch of elec weak demons out. It's just here to be annoying and make you spend 3/4 of your stash of Dis-Stuns you have every time you met him. And he always uses Stun Gaze twice on every turn. And Stun Gaze seems to almost never miss.

I always gone on all my fights whilst being over leveled, so this guy was 4 shotted by IRON CLAW GAMING (3.5k damage crit), yet, the only one i was suffering with was Scady. Untill i started spamming tetrakarn before she Gaya Wrathed me. It was so funny making her loose a whole turn for just 50 mana.
They should've made Beast/Dragon Eye so you're guaranteed one half turn only so it's not spammable BS. Or add one half turn to your already existing turn, making the demon have to exploit a weakness to get another half turn. If this were me, I would have screamed "STOP SPAMMING BEAST EYE, YOU FUCK!".
most of the other bosses that have beast/dragon eye dont spam it probably because atlus is not THAT sadistic, so its likely a bug or coding error esp. when the remaster got rid of it
