I just subscribed. I always wondered if you could just use a regular scale to and didn't realize you could get ones with hold feature like this. Thank you my man. When I looked there is two different models .1 g and .01g. I got the .01g for better accuracy

Hi Sir. How do i get the video from my glasses straight to my phone?
@Outside-In.
@Outside-In. 3 дня назад
You will need to watch the video, I give step by step instructions in the video on how to accomplish what you are asking. Once you have opened the folder on your cell phone, move the videos to a location on your android device. Once the glasses are connected to your cell phone, the glasses will show up as a flash drive, and then all you need to do is to copy the files you want to your cell phone. If you need further assistance, I can try and create another video showing how to accomplish this... I just realized, I only show how to make changes to the config file, using a cell phone, and not how to copy files to the cell phone. its not even 2000Mah in series since they're 3.7V but the device runs as 12.25~V -- would be closer to 1800Mah
@Outside-In.
@Outside-In. 3 дня назад
Actually voltage has nothing to do with it. It is the amps and time it takes to charge that determines the mAh of a battery pack. I took the pack apart, and charged each cell individually, and they rated at just over 2200mAh each which is a total of 2200 mAh capacity for the pack, but I guess you could say that the pack would probably be more like 2000mAh drawing around 1amp, but since the blower uses 4 amps on level 1, that would probably be more like 1400mAh of capacity "If you only use level 1 for the complete runtime. Just a guess though. The more amps you draw from a pack, the less capacity you will get out of it, and the same with charging, the less you charge a pack, say 1 amp, you will get a higher capacity rating than charging at 2 amps. Thanks for your comment - much appreciated👍

Which brand of micro air blower would you recommend?

I just did a review of the Roedix R9, and I do recommend that one, it is just that I felt it was a bit overpriced, but others may not think so. Thanks for the question - I hope this helps.

Its just an overrated battery, don't overthink it too much. Most cheap companies rate the capacities in parallel.

Your right, but I just wanted to show why the results I got in the review were so bad ;). Rating batteries on parallel attributes when using them in series is misleading isn't it?. Is there any difference in the models apart from Wi-Fi in the 4K model? Do the "4K" glasses actually record higher than the 2880 x 1620p that the 1080p model of the glasses can do? Does the most expensive model give a longer battery life than the 1080p (1620p) model which only gives 1 hour? Is there any difference in the models apart from "Wi-Fi" in the 4K model? If you get the sunglasses then are you supposed to also get a set of clear lenses included in any Oho Sunshine model or do you only get those lenses with the 4K model? Is there a way to buy clear lenses as I never got any with the "1080p" Oho Sunshine model I bought I bought on Amazon.
@Outside-In.
@Outside-In. 6 дней назад
I do not know about the 4K glasses. About getting the clear lenses with which model, I do not know that either. I purchased the 1080p - Black Frames - 128GB version. Maybe the more capacity glasses come with the clear lenses, I do not know. The description for mine did not even show clear lenses, so was surprised to find them in the box. I have tried to contact customer support for answers to questions, but have gotten no response from them. Maybe that is one of the downsides of buying inexpensive - I don't know that either - just a guess LOL. Sounds like we are all in the same boat, we just have to cross our fingers, buy it, and see what comes, but that actually sounds like a gamble to me... When I purchased mine, I just thought that if they were no good, I would just return them, but they are great. This is a link to the OHO sunshine store for the lenses - just make sure you choose the right model in the list of options before purchasing. www.amazon.com/Polarized-Smoke-Light-Blocking-Model/dp/B093WRWMHW?ref_=ast_sto_dp

I have seen comments on Amazon that say the 1080P UHD glasses I reviewed in this video are hard to tell apart from the 4K version and not to waste the money, but I simply don't know for sure, because I cannot afford to do a comparison video of them. I can only go by what I have read. I don't know about the battery life for the more expensive ones either, as I cannot afford to purchase the more expensive glasses. I would not want to give information on a hunch, as that would not be fair to anyone. Interesting about the clear lenses, mine came with them, so not sure why yours did not. I would say to contact the seller, but people are saying that customer support sucks, and I am still waiting to hear back from them myself after sending a message to them more than a month ago, so it is unfortunate that they sell great glasses but do no selling of their customer support... I would like to give better and more helpful information, but if I speculate, I would do more harm than good. I do the best I can, but these videos cost a lot of money to make, and so far I am getting no help, so I am very limited on what I can do - hope you understand. 👍

So all you are doing is buying a bunch of cheap monitors and comparing them with each other? Wouldn't you need an expensive unit to actually measure if these devices work?
@Outside-In.
@Outside-In. 6 дней назад
No, I was doing much more than that. I was finding fake ones and exposing them, finding inexpensive ones that most of us can afford. If you have $10,000.00 or more, and would like to buy one for me to use, I would be very happy to use it.... I did what I did with what I had, and sometimes we have to use the Pinto to teach someone how to drive and not kill themselves, because we can't afford the Bentley which is a much more capable and safer car, it doesn't mean that using the Pinto is the wrong way. As long as you know what you are doing and are knowledgeable in the field (and I am), it doesn't matter what you use, just as long as you know the product you are using is close enough to accurate, and that is all anyone needs - close, not pin-point. Besides, the only two monitors that I recommend for anyone is a CO and CO2 monitor, all the others just cause undue stress and mental health issues from paranoia, and why I don't cover air quality any longer. I am tired of feeding into the paranoia that is air quality. People are afraid to leave their homes, go camping, get together with friends and family over a camp fire, it is just ridiculous, how about this air purifier, will that one be better - NO just open a window and live life instead of being afraid of it... Thanks for your comment and concern - it is much appreciated 👍

I highly doubt that you have to use *that* specific cable. It's more likely that whoever gave you that advice doesn't understand that not all USB cables are made the same. To transfer data, the cable has to have the correct wiring -- and there's rarely any labeling to indicate whether a cable is for data transfer or charge only.
@Outside-In.
@Outside-In. 6 дней назад
@ChrisOlin You are right, however, I have cables that will not work for transferring data. The manual for these glasses say to use the cable supplied, but I have a usb cable that will work without using the cable supplied. You can buy cables specifically for data transfer, and they are typically thicker.

I think it is great that you invested a lot of time and effort... In creating these tests to examine what the manufacturers claim to be for the product's performance. and the depth of your testing....demonstrates to others what you are finding. You even examined the data and started to think about what it means and some possibilities for why you came up with some of the results that you did. And you provided that discussion in your video. I don't own either of these two particular products, But I own a similar product. Overall I'm very happy with my air duster it performs the job I needed to really well, my only comment on why you are probably getting some of the results you are explaining to us.... Typically in products like these the batteries are not what they claim to be, or the quality of the battery is not what it should be to get the performance they claim. Products like these are very competitive and often times cost-cutting comes into play after the product goes into production I suspect the amp hour rating for the batteries are lower than what you believe them to be. There's only one way to find that out and that is open the devices up and see what the label printed on the batteries are. But that's entirely up to you the devices seem like nice devices and you've explained to us in great detail their performance, I think overall people could be happy with your preferred choice with these products. I like how you have collected some test equipment and showed us how you perform the tests and collected the data. And I agree with you there is a lot of thought you put into this review and is time consuming but you are providing great information to people on these devices. 🙂

Thank you LonnDawg for your sentiments, very much appreciated. Yes, it is very unfortunate about the Meco Eleverde, as it is probably the most attractive blower I have in my arsenal, although the Aoboco is a very very nice looking device as well, and continues to blow all competition out of the water. It is very very unfortunate that Aoboco doesn't sell their device any longer. I contacted Aoboco, but they have not gotten back to me as of yet, so not sure what is going on with such an incredible piece of hardware. The Roedix R9 is absolutely incredible, but the price has me choking for real. I just can't understand why they would be asking so much money for this. Yes, it is nice to have such a powerful device in such a small form factor, but small form factor in my humble opinion, does not equate to double the price - Just Absolutely - No Way... But - I still do love the Roedix though, and will be using is quite a bit that is for sure. Thanks also for the acknowledgement on the time it takes to put together videos like this, and I take it you must do something similar as that is truly the only way to know what goes into a production. A big thumbs up for your thoughts and sentiments. It is weird that you mentioned taking one apart, because that is just what I was thinking as I was putting the final touches on the video and uploading it. It might be a very good idea for us to take a look inside to see what in the world is going on, because to tell you the truth, the battery in the Meco Eleverde is acting more like a capacitor, except of course for the charge times - 5 hours on a 1 amp charge??????. Really???, and 3 on a 2 amp charge to be able to power it for 24 minutes on level 1 and 13 minutes on level 2 - crazy. 🤔🤔🤔

Help me here, Outside In. I bought one at aliexpress. For HCHO, took very long time to change value, almost 1 hour, to slowly change from 0 to 0.11(poor level), in open air, which I knew had no formaldehyde. Already calibrated. Should the sensor data change quickly? Is this defective?
@Outside-In.
@Outside-In. 17 дней назад
Let me try to answer your questions/concerns in order... 1. "HCHO, took very long time to change value, almost 1 hour" - When first purchasing a monitor (any monitor), it takes a while to adjust to the environment that you bring it into, but also when it comes to HCHO (Formaldehyde), the values can take a bit to rise as HCHO is not as in your face as TVOC's, CO or CO2, so the slow rise is to be expected - unless of course you have a bottle of pure HCHO, then your levels will shoot high instantly. 2. "almost 1 hour, to slowly change from 0 to 0.11(poor level), in open air," - First of all, 0.11 is not bad at all, actually 0.11 is very good levels. Unhealthy levels of HCHO is around 0.4 and above. Again, the reason for the slow rise is because HCHO is partly in everything that we own, and doesn't usually get released until we have disturbed it causing it to get pushed into the environment, and the reason for the slower rise. 3. "in open air, which I knew has no formaldehyde." - Again, that is a wrong assumption. HCHO is everywhere, and in everything; in furniture, drapes, clothing etc., etc.. The Forest is full of HCHO because it is in the trees and plants, and why - in a construction site, where a house is being built or modified, the HCHO levels will be high because of cutting timber, lumber etc. as it releases the HCHO that is within the wood itself. If you make your bed or vacuum your house, the HCHO levels will rise, and pretty high depending on how much cleaning you are doing, but opening a window will cause the levels to fall quickly. 4. "Already calibrated. Should the sensor data change quickly? Is this defective?" - The short answer to this question is more than likely - not. The longer answer is that HCHO data is normally not going to change drastically unless you are doing something drastic - like moving furniture around, putting together a new piece of furniture you bought at the store, cutting a 2x4 to prop up a couch to make it level, etc., or even changing your clothes... HCHO is in everything that we own, and in every part of our lives, so some HCHO is too always be expected, and for most people, HCHO should not really be a concern; as after cleaning, moving furniture around, making the bed, vacuuming the carpet, cleaning our wood floors etc., the HCHO levels will rise, and maybe even to unsafe levels, but don't be alarmed at this, because it is just a quickly dissipated the moment we open a window, and get some ventilation going on. Unless you specifically store Formaldehyde in bottles, and the bottles crack and start leaking, you should always be able to maintain safe levels of an average of 0.001 to 0.25 in your environment, but like I say, no real reason for alarm as ventilation will remove the HCHO nearly as quickly as it rose. The only time for concern is if the HCHO rises to unhealthy levels and remains there, or are consistently going to unsafe levels, causing the need for constantly ventilating the environment, but also, unless you are storing HCHO in liquid form, there should not be too much cause for concern. HCHO is a part of our daily lives, it is a part of what makes up our universe, so no need for panic unless you store it in liquid form, and then I for sure would want a HCHO sensor constantly running, as too high of levels can be very dangerous to our immune systems for sure. I truly hope this has helped answer your questions and concerns about HCHO. 👍

first spot weld a very thin strip of nickel, then sandwich a copper strip under another very thin nickel strip. Dont bother coppering the paralel connections, just do the series one.

Hi Steven, have you considered a DIY approach to making your own custom Air Quality Monitor? After watching this video I was interested to see if you could do it? There are videos online on how to make it, but I don’t have technical knowledge or tools to make such devices.

Thank you Thomas for your comment and question. I have thought of that very thing, but after looking into it, the cost of such a project is something that I am unable to do at the moment. I have been working with AirKnight in developing their new model, but I guess that is as close as I can come to actually creating one myself. 👍 AirKnight's new model is supposed to be out by the end of this year, but haven't heard from them in a while, so no updates on how close they are in completion.

@Outside-In.
@Outside-In. 18 дней назад
Thank you T Heamanth for the question. I could not give a opinion on a monitor I have not used. I did look at these, and for the price, I would go with TemTop. The Prana only does PM and AQI, while TemTop does PM, TVOC, HCHO, AQI. It just depends on what you are looking for as far as air quality. I am finding however, that unless you spend 200.00 or more on a monitor, it is a hit and miss for quality and longevity. I know this probably doesn't help much, but I can't offer a recommendation on a monitor that I have not tested, and taken apart for review. If I am able too, I could look into purchasing the Prana for a review video, but right now, I just can't afford to purchase any monitors for review, but hopefully soon.

Well, I think you're starting the learning process about batteries and those.... that are coming from our friends in China... You will find to some extent that in order to get some of the things that you're going to investigate out of the battery pack you need the pack to come form a quality company that has a good reputation... There are companies who make good quality battery packs which generally speaking won't live up to the exact numbers for the capacity but they are within reason close. There are interesting things to learn about these types of batteries, one is cycling the battery a few times before running some durability and capacity tests, also you'll find discharge rates if you really go hunting for them again that's kind of buried information even with quality companies... An example of a quality battery to some extent would be something like for a name brand laptop charge the battery... then pull the battery from the laptop and let it sit for like a month and see how much it loses from just sitting. I think in the end you're going to learn a lot about batteries, and how their chemical composition creates the behavior in the batteries characteristics.... In the end when you're done torturing and testing these power banks I hope you plan on cracking them open and let's see what we can find inside the actual batteries let's pray... There are some reference numbers and maybe if we get lucky a name of the manufacturer of the battery. Still a great video and you have the opportunity to share your experience and knowledge of what you have found on products like these.

Steven, a few weeks ago you showed a variable DC controller. Does it increase the DCVs out? Ok, if I put 5DCVs in, will it turn up to 20-30DCVs.... ?

Thanks Buzz, could you break that down a bit?, I am not sure what you are asking.... 🤔 Are you talking about the RD6024 Power Supply?
@Outside-In.
@Outside-In. 22 дня назад
I Googled DCV's and came up with Directional Control Valve for Hydraulics, but somehow I don't think that is what you are referring too. I am assuming that you mean if you put 5 volts in the variable DC controller, will you be able to get 20-30 volts out?. Not unless it is a boost converter, and the DC controller I showed (the RD6024) is not a boost controller, it is a buck converter. A buck converter only puts out what is put in, and allows you to go down to 0 volts, but not go above the voltage you input. I hope I understood what you meant by DCV's... The DCV's is what is throwing me off a bit, as I have never heard it put that way before. If you put 5 volts into a DC converter, and want 20-30 volts out, you would need a Boost converter, or a Buck-Boost converter to do that. The Riden converters are Buck only converters. Also, the DPS5020 that I did a video about is also a Buck only converter, so if you put 5 volts in, you will only get 0-5 volts out.

5000mAh/1000*3.7V/5V*0.85 = 3.145Ah expected value for dc/dc efficiency 85%, so most of them fair enough.
