If it were based on real life. Harley would use Joker as a pawn, manipulating things so that she could take his place. Be the new joker... or face of anarchy to look up to. Steal his role.
Someone really needs to make a video about the unlikely rise of the MonsterVerse. How this series became possibly the second most successful shared universe behind the MCU which in itself is a major accomplishment. Considering many including the DCEU have failed to even sniff the MCU’s success.
why would a person who had never read Dune and didn't even like the first movie 4x, hold up Denis Villeneuve in an interview like that? Seems very convenient you just happened to "finally love it" right before talking to him
I approve of the supposition that "dumb fun" is too narrow a view for this movie. There are still horrible flaws in the writing but I can't imagine something like this being capable of existing without some concessions. It's thoroughly enjoyable _because_ it's so off the rails, instead of in spite of it. I've loved Godzilla my whole life, and I can't argue that the monsterverse has been quite the treat; especially when considering the fact that we got both ends of the spectrum so close together. Between Minus One and GxK, it is undeniably a great time to be a Godzilla fan.
On Japanese Twitter I’ve seen people basically write out what the monsters are “saying”. They’re calling them characters from a yakuza movie. It kind of shows how much personality the monsters have. I’m a huge fan of Minus One, as my profile pic shows, but GxK from what I can gather is like a good wrestling match; wrestling isn’t just action, there’s a hero and a villain, storylines, arcs. Even if it doesn’t make sense often. And I respect that.
Another show that got review bombed to death, I liked it read all her comics as a kid and I still liked this show. Too bad it's gone now and we'll probably never get she-hulk in her own movie now! Sheesh!🤔
i disagree. i would have preferred scream 5 to take a full new approach and create something new and original rather than depend on the past or the more successful original movies. its a lack of creativity
I like Alex Garland as a director, and I wish he wouldn't retire from directing after " Civil War". I REALLY want him to direct "Dredd 2". Come on, Alex! Make Karl Urban the law again!
I hated this movie. It was far too long for the limited story it had too tell. There weren't enough compelling characters, no tension over DiCaprio's decisions. I think there was a great movie to be made here (costumes, actors cinematography, budget, subject matter), but they just dropped the ball with a BORING film that went nowhere and stayed there.
I don't know what the problem with Sprite complaining about being an adult in a child's body and not getting to experience what an adult was too experienced all she had to do is be in the Middle East and she could have hooked up with Allah are literally anybody else back in the good old days when you only live to be 35 years old and they got married at 10
19:20 "Outside of this picture Dracula has never been seen as a tragic figure." That's not true. Werner Herzog's "Nosferatu" (1979) shows Dracula as a VERY tragic figure who's longing for nothing but love.
The X-Men in the 97 series, the revival of the original 90s cartoon, was insanely successful, and everything from the story, visuals, action, animation, and even the theme, is all astonishing. I'm so glad Marvel got the X-Men rights back, hope to see them in the MCU soon, 'cause 97 was just the beginning for them. To me, my X-Men!!!
I like the story of dune but the movie was just okay . It was at least more faithful to the books but i guess more people are excited if they didnt already read the books.
In my opinion, the states of California and Texas uniting is about dealing with the much bigger threat. They have differences sure, and once the bigger threat is dealt with they will likely start turning on each other once the war is over. We've seen this in our own history. But until then, its a march to Berlin against a clearly fascist dictator who has been hinted at massacring Antifa, kills journalists and is happy to warp the system to ensure he stays in power. Yeah Texas might like the presidents ideas for all we know, BUT they like it on their own terms, where they are in power. I think people got way too distracted with the civil issues currently in the real world, and forgot there could be threats that simply super cede those issues, super ceded to the point the states actually go to war.
You guys missed the real point, this movie is bad, wether or not historically accurate. Being historically accurate wouldn't make this movie any less bad then it was. Everything in it beside battle images is just bad.
❤ I AGREE WITH EVERYTHING YOU SAID SIR ! I GREW UP ON THE " HAMMER FILMS " . THEY SET THE BAR FOR EVERY OTHER GOTHIC HORROR FILM 🎥 ❤! AT 62 I STILL ENJOY THE MOVIES .
Can we please get a redo for Darwin they did him dirty in the movies !! He's literally one of the best characters no one knows about unless you are a fan !! #darwindeservesbetter
It’s simple they give the spotlight light to the rest of the characters and don’t make Wolverine the main character all the damn time. Yea Hugh jackman made them money but it’s not what the fans really wanted
Every war is innocent people suffering and old men posturing. It is why it is to be avoided. Ultimately countries must defend their own people either by fighting or surrendering. Starting a fight you cannot finish is not the other guys fault Countries like China and Soviet Union had 10X the death toll of Japan with no nuclear weapons, mostly civilian.
