I get so much anxiety when playing. I end up sweating so much that I don't wear shirts when playing. When I win, I just feel empty and when I lose it's depression. I hate the idea that I can spend a day playing ranked, only to stay in the same rank points, or even be lower. It feels like I'm wasting my life away.
I still struggle to pick modern or classic somes controls are better on different guys and I still put in the super and special buttons cause they do max damage I just can't do combos
Love this vid and the points you made about the psychology behind ranked anxiety. I'm a returning fighting game player(2003 was the last time I was active in the genre), got hooked with SF6 2 months ago and trained using classic controls and getting beat up by Modern ctrl at Plat 2 players really really tilts me a lot (It's the game telling me I suck at decision making, defense and RPS). The tips you gave are just awesome. Keep up these contents, I'm surprised your sub count isn't reflecting the quality of the content you have, but it will come in time. The best advice I can give anyone for fighting games is play a souls game lol. It completely removed any care I had for losing lol. Losing a set never feels as bad as getting stomped by a boss 20 times and never coming close to beating it

Yea but Elden ring is a different game, beating elden ring is much easier than Achieving Master equivalent in a fighting game. In Elden Ring you are given the tools and you can cheese through your own tools, better gear, cheese build, better build. In a Fighting game you have to Hone your skills, Use the proper tool, have deep understanding, knowledge, reaction speed, prediction speed, adapting, etc. And the worst thing in all of that not every players will be on the same floor some people will have no hands, others are just too old, others are just too young etc. Overcoming a fighting game is like climbing mount everest, There's alot of skill to reach and all at the same time, wow you can do the hardest combos, but can you actually land them? Wow you can block mix-up but can you actually properly punish them optimally? There's just too many, and adding too much doesn't really help since 2XKO has tons of system.
@@tj_puma it is what it is, considering not many ppl wanna learn about a char so early in development, or they just weren’t in etc. This concept is infinitely repeatable and just thought of it as a test run, generally guide like content with hyper specificity doesn’t do that well imo but sometimes you just gotta do it
Mic: Shure SM7B Controller: MPRESS Arcade w/ Harimau Switches on Direction, Silent Cherry Black on Up and Novelkey Silk Yellow on Everything else Bit of a different video, I wanted to practice some Yasuo bnbs before the Alpha Ended because I made that MarlinPie video and still hadn't really played Yasuo... maybe you'll find this relaxing, or inspirational in some way, I'm not sure, but this is just a small tribute to the Unforgiven, the Alpha Lab, and executing cool combos. Shoutout @K7Showoff for the bnb. I still haven't played a match with Yasuo lol. This is probably the hardest combo I've done in any Fighting Game but happy I spent some time playing him, it was rewarding leveling up my execution, comment down below if you have a cool story from the Alpha Lab or if you just did something you're really proud of during our time with the game.
I was having the same thoughts while getting ran through in the game lol it reminded me of that addiction I got from Apex in general the movement, mechanics, abilites, etc. I never thought I would get to a decent level until one day it all just started making sense. 2XKO has captured that feeling in a fighting game form I play SF6 and GBFV while those are fun they miss that feeling that is captured in this game great video describing what that feeling was!

Nope, my character is trash, I'm playing against cheaters using cheap shit, the servers are laggy, the game eats my inputs, my controller is bad. Improvement is for scrubs, skill is for bots. Always OD DP on wakeup
The game is not hard people have been conditioned to be pussies. Now a days everything has become softer than charming toilet paper, with video games male characters looking feminine or straight up just gay as hell.
