People don't talk about how LeBron has basically tarnished his career with his dirty play chokes and constant whining , getting coaches sacked , jumping teams , he's like a boxer well past his prime that just won't quit fighting
The one thing that as far as I'm concerned always disqualifies LeBron James from being the goat is the simple fact that he was only a strong defensive player for six seasons the goat is always got to be a two-way player and should be among the top five if not at least the top 10 best at being a two-way player on both sides of the ball that's why Jordan is the goat
Idc playing for this long and having only 4 rings to show is crazy to me. Idc how many points you scored. That’s to be expected when you have longevity. So you’re telling me you can do all that scoring but not get to the finals???? The way you get swept Jordan would’ve never even let a sweep cross his mind. I mean help it make sense lmaooo. Jordan’s Mentality is far beyond Lebron’s. Ain’t just about scoring. That’s what yall all missing. Jordan literally stopped greats from ever even getting their hands on a ring. For bron it’s Christmas and he be handing out Rings.
Hands down one of the cheesiest debate videos on RU-vid... to even pretend like LeBron has a chance to be called the GOAT if drags his ridiculous career out for many more years is laughable 😂
The 66-16 big 3 Celtics getting taken to 7 games by the 37-45 Hawks in round 1 is insane ! Then to go 7 in round 2 is insane ! Then still make the Finals and dominate Kobe and Pau is f***ing nuts honestly !
The oldheads in the comments getting on their high horse is so funny to watch lol just making up random narratives about Lebron showing clear bias just proving they don't really love the game of basketball they preach to love its embarrassingly sad.
I'm a Bron and MJ fan, but the 2001 Lakers is the Greatest All Time Team for me they have a complete lineup. Shaq - Low Post Monster Kobe - 3 Level Scorer Fisher, Fox, Horry - Great 3 Point Shooters Phil - Greatest Coach
I started to play basketball in 1997, after see MJ in the 90's. I saw MJ and LBJ playing and i can say one thing that make MJ my GOAT: in the worst situation can be, MJ was calm. Like he had control about the situation. And this fact was reflected on 6-0 in the finals appearences. LBJ don't have this mentality. He is a great athlete, maybe the bigger. But not the better player.
LBJ's 50% fgp is bullshit! 😂 talk about the soft ass era LBJ's playing in. Players don't try to stop him from going to the basket. Rigged on top of picking teammates and refs and commentators in his back pocket. 🤣🤣🤣
You been making video like this for the last 20 and still they still haven't won 8 D, Nuggets take this again even Wolves could beat boston no doubt about that
That's why Kobe is the most disrespected all time legend. He basically won 5 championships in his career and all 5 of them jad extremely high amount of difficulty facing multiple not 50, but 55+ WINNING TEAMS and even 60+ winning teams. I 2010 play off I think he faced 2 50+ winning teams and 2 55+ winning teams. In 2009 I think he faved 3 50+ winning teams snd what's really crazy is too look at their 2001 seaosn. When somebody see the stats, he will think to himself "this should've been some easy run and easier competition" amd than... You look at that Lakers dominated literally in year where competition was insanee they defeated 2 60+ teams nearly 4-0... That's crazy man.
@@eddiebuckets7688 that's true if you talk about his first 3 titles. But look at his last 2. All teams that he faced in 2010 were 50+ teams and almost all teams in 2009 were 50+ teams too... People are always saying Lebron had amazing finals in 2016 defeating those Warriors and that's all great, but people forgot that there is also road to a finals, and Kobe had to go through toughest path to play in finals and to winning it... His titles are tougher than Jordan and everybody else.
also i want to add Magic was around 30 or 31 when the Bulls won their first championship... that's not "old" .. might be the end of their prime but even at that time players played well into the mid 30's before retiring... as a matter of fact the league was caught off guard when Magic decided to retire, not because he was old (matter of fact his retirement was considered an early retirement) but because he had HIV.
let's not forget the most important fact of this debate... MJ is why the NBA is as popular as it is today. MJ, maybe not solely, is the reason the NBA is "world wide"... comparatively the NBA attendance is on a decline with Lebron being the face of the league... the contributions graph completely disproves this argument of lebron carrying nobody's
Good 🎥 However, I think some mistakes were made. 1) Pippen did not make 6 All Star appearances with Jordan. He only made 4. If your gonna count the 2 he did make without Jordan you need to do so with Lebrons teammates as well to create balance. 2)Jordan never dragged a team to the Finals. Jordan 91 team did not have an All Star on it similar to LeBron. However they both had former All Stars - Big Z 2 appearances and Scottie Pippen 1 Appearance.
20:11 LeBron has never dragged a team of bodies to the NBA finals. One thing you were forgetting to add mates and the championships the teammates have had before playing with that star in case it would only be Dennis Rodman, who is toward the end of his career versus Dwyane Wade, who won a championship and was stealing his prime and don’t forget Chris Bosch. Kevin Mike Miller, Reggie Miller, Gary Payton, who was admittedly on his last leg Shaquille O’Neal last Kyrie Irving. We always say Anthony Davis LeBron had a lot more quality talented teammates on his team. You don’t assist unless your teammates are hitting shots … so how could LeBron have ever played with bums
17:55 one thing that you need to go back and correct that is Phil Jackson not a great head coach when he was still learning how to coach. He was a great coach with six championships when he was coaching Kobe and Shaq.
I feel like for the help section, All-Defensive team selections should have been mentioned too, since some people tend to underestimate how much of an impact good defensive teammates can make for winning. Especially during Jordan's prime, the Bulls were a defensively stacked team at several points as only 5 teams in history besides them in 1996 (3 All-Def 1st team players) and 1993 (2 All-Def 1st team players and 1 All-Def 2nd team player) ever had 3 players make the All-Def team in the same season since the merger. Those being: 2021 76ers | 2020 Bucks | 2013 Memphis where Marc Gasol only barely scraped into 2nd team as there was a tie in 1st team between Noah & Chandler for the Centre position | 1983 76ers | 1978 Trail Blazers with 4 All-Def players Compared to this, the only times LeBron had a teammate make those All-Def teams while they played together was in 2010 with Varejao who made the 2nd team while LeBron made the 1st team that year, and in 2020 with AD when LeBron was long past his defensive prime.
The only good GOAT debate is when one has enough common sense to not discredit and disrespect one to try and lift and raise up the other. Slander and miserable, insecure opinions on the matter are tired and annoying after a decade of the same old sayings. If you can't enjoy and respect both then what's the point?
Ye see, Lebron will always win for me. Longevity beats all, and someone that is just so damn fucking good for so long like I can't argue against it but then also understand I am grew up watching 2010's ball, fav player is steph and value a 3-1 comeback against a 73-9 team alot
There is one common factor: Giannis and Middleton just arent as good as people think they are. Nobody ever holds this dude accountable for getting bounced early and they dont give Jrue Holiday the credit for carrying this overrated guy Giannis 's limitations and ball hagging are going to be the reason they never reach their potential. Portis looks AMAZING whenever Giannis isnt playing
