As someone who consistently rides multiple Evos & TC's, I will agree that they have more character - But in terms of reliance and performance? The M8 has yet to let me down.
Most annoying thing Most $300+ good brand footpegs have a simple arp bolt and if it comes loose they just spin like this Yet if you get amazon $30 pegs they have grooves like teeth to slip in for adjustment so even if it comes a little bit loose it wont move up or down until you fully wind the bolt out, The expensive brands really need to jump on that
Multiple 5000+ mile cross country/international bike trips - You should check out some of my videos, you'd probably enjoy them - Appreciate you Chris!!
Should wire the spots to a power supply the is connected to the ignition switch. Also wire in a tail from the battery to somewhere accessible and get a lithium jump pack.

I have a blue 85 FXRS Low Glide in Bay Ridge BK 19,000 miles, mostly stock. I am in the middle of changing the trans seals and the sprocket shaft oil seal. Tapered main shaft, finger clutch releases. I keep a spare clutch finger because they have broken on me before. Easy enough fix on the street. Buckhorns, rides nice.
Funniest part is the ST is purely another money grab gimmick. They be back buying a bagger in a season if not less, alrdy see MANY of them on the market used. They aren't even comparable honestly. The "bags" are half the size. it's a junky soft tail, and most certainly build with less quality being a newer model, everything newer is throw away trash. The ST fairing does nothing more then a road warrior does. The wind buffeting is atrocious. The do brutal on the open hey and are not even that fast in comparison to a mildly built bagger. In conclusion, everyone who buys one of these is going miserably back to the dealer to re trade it in on a real bagger LOL
I agree on the lighter bike. The difference between wife's sportster and my Buell is really noticeable just moving them around. I like taller bikes. But not the Pan am. I do like the nightsters.
I`m a big fan of buy what you want.I went from an `05 Softail to an `09 FLHT,best thing I ever did.Handles better than the Softy, has storage, and is just plain more fun,for me.Brought the engine to a 117",and the fun factor is even greater. As for the Lowrider ST,not a fan myself, even my wife did`nt realize its a Harley. But,I will say,it fits a different demographic;it fits what the guys are today. My wife and friends always say, what happened to men. They`re not manly anymore, and this bike fits them. Kind of like women with beards. Buy what you like, and have a good time.
I’ve just returned from bornfree and guys on the west just rocking choppers there daily I’ve never seen a single chopper in nyc never wtf is wrong with you all???? Imma building one and rocking it in in ny. Shame on all you lads on the east coast 🥸
