EASY Pro Gamer Climbing Strat - BOTW Speedrunning Quick Tip [2] 

Using a shield to cancel an extra jump animation is a great way to shave little bits of time off your run. Try it out, as it's a bit awkward at first, maybe, but after getting used to the extra input, this little glitch will become second nature.
