Welcome to Jimmy's World! I’m Jimmy, and now you’re in my world! It’s a world of airplanes, dad jokes, and adventures.
This channel started on a whim..with an abandoned #Pipercherokee6. Since then, we've found several abandoned airplanes and answered the question "Will it run?" Most did, some… not so much.
We’ve flown planes through thunderstorms and the Kentucky tornado of 2021… Where will we end up next?!
We've got a #Cessna310, a #Beechcraftbonanza, and now the infamous #Lancair! Whether you’re a Blue Angel or just getting your private pilot’s license, flying a trainer or a jet, if you have a love for aviation and are looking for an exciting channel, there’s no better place than right here.
Subscribe to join me on my crazy aerial journey!
Videos premiere every Saturday and Wednesday at 9am EST.
I have a few hours in a Lear 35. Typically flys 45,000 ft. It does have a drag chute for short runways. Beautiful plane to fly. Very slippery especially with descent as easy to pass .82 Mach and get into trouble.
i love you jimmy when made me laugh when you jokingly spoke about a male pilot didn't want to ask for directions, LOL but it is a common truth on both sides of the pond, and applies to what ever your driving or flying. You seem to oblivious to worry and thank god your as your mere presence on any plane with any problems would be incredibly reassuring and the anti panic cure. As i have a huge phobia about flying ....(.i mean crashing !!! ) For me to board any commercial flight i would need your presence in the cock pit and or or be fully anesthetised, oh i forgot the parachute and my pockets stuffed full with pain killers. but intellectually i do know that my my paranoia flies or crashes in the face of the statistics these days, thanks to science, and i,m happy to take the vaccine regularly, so i can listen to reason on occasions, Take care Jimmy i love watching your channel.
Please do not lower yourself to clickbait. Your videos are already interesting and the idiots who will gravitate to sensational clickbait will not stick around for your type of content. God Bless you and your family Jimmy.
The only thing I know about those dynamic counterweights is if you hear any chatter from an engine equipped with them....change a power setting immediately.
Definitely your best video I've really enjoyed listening to this guy's stories and checking out his airplanes I'm really bummed out because for some reason I can't share the video with anybody for some reason it's just letting me leave a comment but I can't share anything I don't know if it's you or You Tube
Wow what a great video Jimmy top of the line toys this guy's got that little red Cessna that you're sitting in right now as I'm watching is totally cool
Great! Can say it’s like his own documentary of his life and airplanes with his dads dad and all things with details, Just like others said,I can hear this without ever getting bored a bit 👍. He definitely lived a life he loved

At least us R/C enthusiasts pretty much avoid the possibility of dying or killing others when we crash our little planes. BTW - Even 5 mph winds with small foam airplanes is the absolute limit to fly them. The basic rule of R/C flying is "If the leaves are uh shakin the planes are gonna' be uh breakin!"
I still don’t understand why the jet couldn’t have been made flyable ? Such “stupid” laws, made by “Stupid People”. I mean, you purchase an old jet, you hire professionals, they get it air-worthy to professional standards and the government “still” won’t allow it to fly … COME ON, YOU STUPID IDIOTS ! … REALLY ???
The former Soviet Union is now a mob-run gas station that ostensibly attacks it's neutral neighbors. If they are not annihilated by the forces in Ukraine; they will move on to attack both the Ballan and the Baltic States democracies. It is therefore clear why the current authoritarian version of the American Republican Party supports modern Russia effort to crush democracy in what "Mother Russia" considers to be security risk countries such as Ukraine, Latvia, etc.
The F-86 Sabre jet of Korea fame actually was armed with SIX 50 caliber machine guns. The four 20mm cannon version was introduced late in that war with minimal success. My F-86 pilot neighbor said that the gun cameras were showing that the MiG's were taking 1400 rounds of 50 ammo and not going down. It was therefore a pressing necessity to experiment with larger bore weapons with the four 20's. The USAF of those times was so sensitive re the cannon project that they painted extra gun ports on the nose of the F-86c's to provide cover for the mid-war experiment. My neighbor, a Lt. Col in the Air Force, flew one on the first "cannon armed" F-86's and found that even with just two of the four guns in operation; the cockpit would fill with smoke. The Saber Jet would go on with 1950's Hog and Dog advanced, more powerful versions all of which would have the four-cannon 20mm arrangement.
Imo that wood glue is urea formaldehyde,a high stress wood glue that is still for sale here in Australia but has been banned in the U.S. for a number of years due to health implications.
She did a great job with the proposal. I know nothing about planes (know cars) but I could tell from the walk-around the unknowns could be huge, probably an additional 25%-35%. Made me think of inspecting a car and finding it was in a flood.
