Humans are animals, but like other animals, we mostly take care of our own. We should not have to deal with people crying about that when the same people wouldn’t go cry about how lion ate some other creature. We’re just part of the animal kingdom doing what we do.
Just like all of God's creatures. They're there for a purpose. chickens lay eggs. turkeys, geese, ducks, rabbits, pigs and cows are raised as meat animals. We raise them healthy and happy. Jesus cooking fish for his disciples is not proof he ate a lot of meat. His disciples were fishermen for god's sake, he respected that, and even if he didn't consume meat he wouldn't have forced that on his disciples.
