RSPCA approve all sorts of heinous things. These slaughterhouses and farms hitting animals get barely even a tap on the wrist when exposed. Even supported by RSPCA to commit blunt forced trauma/swing an animal by the legs against concrete to kill them… This guy is so creepy. His argument is basically might makes right and mixed with complete apathy.

Sounds like my own rationalization a decade ago. Fortunately, I took some time time to examine my beliefs. Also, the vegan community articulated the existential dilemma graphically on film and in conversation. There is a certain amount of fear in such a dietary transition. Those of us who have transformed ourselves of course find it relatively simple after perhaps a year or so. We have less nightmares and more moral integrity.

Some people want to stay ignorant, and use all sorts of ridiculous arguments to "prove" human superiority. They think they're smart, but really make themselves look stupid! I admire and respect all the animal activists who go out of their way to educate with the truth. I have been an ethical and healthy vegan for nearly 13 yrs( i am nearly 69), and none of my family over the yrs ( i have 3 grown up sons) have done the same except my close friend who went and stayed vegetarian and one of my three sisters went veggie. Its great to see male vegan activists educating and informing people with the vile and cruel industries which have brain washed and conditioned us all for many many decades now. To plant a truth seed is essential in life and it is how we have made progress and advanced over time. I have had many many discussions with my family over the years about the cruel and vile meat dairy and egg industries but it all falls on deaf ears and their reluctance to change. Its very frustrating and upsetting to think that i have not managed to influence and educate anyone in my own family and probably never will. Education done in the right way as in activism on the streets and in schools/colleges, is very important and the truth about the farming industries need to be shown and taught, and the earlier the better so that the younger generation can teach the older ones how to live better and kinder lives. Well done to all the truth tellers of this world.

Animals don't respect our right to live so we don't have to respect theirs. Despite that, we grant them rights out of compassion (something they lack for others outside their family). We decide what rights we want to give them. That doesn't include the right to live without being eaten.

David, I don't see this man having much cognition and intelligence, which is actually just based on the capacity to solve problems relevant to one's own particular species. How many challenging problems of survival has this man solved on his own? Animals need far more brain power just to survive one day in the jungle. They don't need Wi-fi and cell phones to communicate, they have telepathy and sonar and their own languages.
