It could be a form of Münchausen syndrome or she might be a pathological liar…. It always confuses me when people lie about something so serious… I got diagnosed with bipolar 1 several years ago in my mid-late twenties. The depression that comes from this disorder is so debilitating. It pisses me off when people pretend to have mental health conditions… the amount of mental hospitals I’ve been in, getting addicted to various drugs to cope, going homeless for several years, people in my close circle psycho-analyzing me frequently… To see people “try it on” as though mental illness is some sort of cute costume is infuriating…. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she does have some undiagnosed mental health issues. I’m not her so I won’t ever know. Anyway, I like your videos, Swoop. I fucking can't stand it when people who harmed and / or KILLED someone refers to their murder, that this person carried out, as "losing" someome. Their family "lost" someome. She "lost" her life. SHE DIDN'T MISPLACE IT, YOU FUCK. It was STOLEN. She was MURDERED. You ROBBED her family, friends, and world of their daughter, sister, friend, the future she could have lived. You TOOK her life. She didn't misplace it in the couch. It's not missing. "When she lost her life" is such a spineless skirt around saying "when I took her life", or killed her, or murdered her. Zero responsibility.
My personal opinion, it was first degree. She knew what she was about to do when she did it. Her parents felt he was a black man so they should have been able to get her daughter off any way they can.

I think the skirt you're referring to is not the skirt that the Karen referring to. But point still stands, she could have just gone to the girls and inconspicuously say 'hey girl, your mamma bits are showing.' and then leave it up to the girl to decide if she wants to pull her skirt down and hide her ass and bits. And it's up to the 10 year olds parents to teach them not to look. Or something. I'm exactly the same as Ida, i think it's sad that girls today show so much skin. But if you don't like it, walk away.

They probably went with second degree because it’s easier to prove. It’s frustrating, but the legal system would rather they jail an offender for a smaller offense than see them go free because they couldn’t entirely build a case for a more serious crime. This seems to happen more in cases like these where there isn’t enough evidence.
Ali is trash, evil, and 100 percent in the wrong for what he did. He deserves everything he got and more. I just wish better decisions had been made by Ana and Ray as well that could have prevented this tragedy. There was a history between Ali, Ana, and Ray and there were warning signs leading up to this that were missed. Ali had already disliked Ray from the jump and was suspicious of him. Ali and Ray had already had words with each other over a FaceTime call that a mutual male friend had set up to mend fences between the two and that call ended with the two disliking each other even more after that. Ray was the absolute worst possibility that Ali could’ve barged in on that day and for the life of me I can’t understand why Ana invited him over to a place Ali had just trashed and clearly had access to. She also knew this man hated Ray, was unstable, and carried a gun. Who knows what they were all thinking that day. At the end of the day this was a tremendous loss for everyone involved and it’s absolutely heartbreaking. Rest in peace to Ana and Ray.

I feel for the daughter, she's going to grow up without her mom and knowing her dad is the reason. I just hope this doesn't impact her negatively too much and that she's in a loving home.

This happened to a friend of mine. He and his friend's boyfriend would take shifts being with this girl. Her ex husband was released from jail earlier the day he decided to go into her apartment and stab her to death. My dear friends, her boyfriend and my friend (i didnt know her personally, just her brother); one was so quiet and reserved after her death since he was at work, and the other has stab wound scars he will have for the rest of his life. This has to stop.
I agree with the judge. The perpertrator is a narcissist and he cannot comprehend how to feel bad for murdering Anna and Rayburn (Sorry if I misspelled their names), but he knows how to feel bad about the consequences he is facing, because they impact him directly. He isn't even sorry for what his daughter is going through. Even IF Anna was cheating on him (which I don't think she was), neither her nor her friend deserve to be murdered. He certainly got off easy when he cheated if that's his sentence. Guns are supposed to be stored locked in a box, not loaded (Not that anyone does that) unless they are being used. The fact that he picked up the gun and left the house with it? That's enough for premeditation. Why take it if you're not planning on using it?
If he's air force and moved to Arizona there is a very good chance he could be drone operator, it would certainly explain his attention to detail. The base he was stationed at is one of the known drone piloting base, he also could've been in one of the air force's special forces that sometimes get embedded with navy SEALS rangers, army rangers or marine raiders which would also explain his ability to lie and stay calm in that type of scenario where most people would immediately react. The tactical way he approached this makes me lean more towards potential special forces (which is also why there might not be a lot of information about his career or life) but the base he moved to is known drone base and I don't know where the air force special forces base of operations is (like the SEALs in Coronado CA) or if they have one. Either way I'd put money on a bet that he's not a simple E-1 Airman.
