I think it completely depends on the results you get in life. Let's ignore the people who hate their lives but haven't done anything to improve it and focus on the men who have identified their faults and set out to address them. One guy can get into shape, get a degree, and end up in a good job that leads to a better job, where he meets someone who puts him in contact with an even better opportunity, where he's scouted by an even better company and up and up he goes. At the same time, his effort to get into shape has completely changed his dating life and now he has more interest and dates than he can handle. Another guy can get into shape and get a degree, but can't find a job. Months and years fall away as he struggles to break into his industry without success. And, despite getting into great shape, women are universally uninterested in him. If you're the first guy, you want society to continue and think that unsuccessful people are just lazy. If you're the second guy, you hate society and know that if you're unlucky, nothing you do will result in success.
I still remember how it was back before the internet happened, all was the same , the best chances to find anyone is high school , college, university then work environment ( how unethical of me 😂) everything else is junk relations , sorry if you like to think your generation is somehow special

I respect those who can handle a small town. I feel them suffocating. Little options, no privacy, all reputation & gossip. It’s like a never ending high school drama. It’s hard because I think raising my kids in a small town would be better for them.
