You could go to Larkhall at the end of the argyle line. It's quite interesting as the line used to go further up, along to Strathaven but got shut due to the Beeching cuts.

Definably a fond farewell to them Subway trains in Glasgow, they will be missed. It'll be the same with the 1973 stock on the Piccadilly line in London once's the news tube trains are in serves.
It’s a shame I couldn’t make it, although one of my friends I work with at The Bo’ness and Kinneil Railway did, and even appeared on BBC Reporting Scotlabd
Thanks for the video David. I am currently in Whaley Bridge. I might go to Sheffield from Chinley as I don't know Sheffield at all really and will be an exciting experience going past the upgraded Dore and Totley Station.
