plus the arena is too small for a boss whose ultimate attack can only be avoided by running away. Like they made an endless lake but then put invisible walls so close that you will run into them or get cornered
I never noticed this because I killed Bayle with a critical hit, but he tries to call lightning down upon you one last time before he fades out of existence. Fighting down to the last inch of his life. Perhaps him and Igon are not so different after all
Amazingly times, specially while using spells and not having the HUD to time them, nor the amoung of FP remaining, and went confident throughout, kudos.
I swear I have that chest piece but I don’t remember the name, either ways, one of the easier bosses in the dlc, just under 1 million (Ng+7)runes to get Comet Azur’d, murdered by magma blades, great katana, or a single Milady
Amazing gameplay as always. It's such an enigmatic boss, very rare do we see designs like that, and her phase 2 music kind of resembles the sound of a Black Hole that was recorded through magnetic fields, it's really scary. Here's the video if you're interested, it's at the end: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mBnrTGH55DI.html
A marvelous showcase! I honestly didn’t know if you were even going to showcase her 😂 but soo glad you did! I understand why many hate her but personally I absolutely adore her! I love how in her second phase you can hear the sound of an actual black hole, I love how her notorious laser attack is actually imitates a pulsar stars energy rays, I love her lore and especially the atmosphere and ost (which was beautifully showcased here!). Again i understand people who hate her but im absolutely in awe of our star born eldritch mother!! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Her presentation and build up with Ymir’s quest are amazing, as is the OST (the black hole sounds are very unsettling, it’s great). I just wish her fight wasn’t so frustrating in a lot of aspects. While visiting the finger ruins for the first time I thought we would fight an orphan of Kos type boss, which I think could’ve been way more enjoyable, she’s just a bit too big and weirdly shaped for my liking. Still cool to see some love for metyr, I can definitely see why you like her!
@@Veloketh I love fighting monsters. I would have been pretty disappointed if she was more human-like. Only bad thing about her is the startup of the laser attack. Peak boss in my eyes (very creative in art direction, sound, attack pattern, music, lore)
@@cowhale2488 many of my favorite bosses are monster types (ludwig, bayle, guardian ape, dancing lion), but they offer engaging fights outside of great spectacle. Metyr’s design is sick (even if its a bit over the top with the finger theme) but her melee moves are pretty lacking for an edlritch being imo and her magic offers mostly passive gameplay. I wouldn’t give her an actual human form but at least an alien form that allows for some really crazy moves and engaging combos etc (or transformative powers like messmer)
@@Veloketh Fair enough. I think she's pretty alright, especially compared to ds3 big bosses that have zero defenses when you get close to them. I enjoy a good spectacle with a decent moveset. Ludwig doesn't seem any more complex to me from a mechanical standpoint.
@@Veloketh yeah I can definitely see what you mean! I definitely won’t deny there are some annoying aspects of the fight 😂 I think mainly just love her presentation, lore and cosmic inspired characteristics!
A better Bloodborne boss than most base game Bloodborne bosses, only dragged down by that dumb unintuitive laser. Still fun, much better when you don't have many Scadibiti Fragments.
@@BousserwelNada Yeah, we should be glazing Ebrietas, One Reborn, Bloodstarved Beast, Living Failures, and most Chalice Dungeons bosses instead. Those are definitely acceptable and better than the other beast style bosses in the series.
I think Rom and Ebrietas are similarly frustrating, the only really good edlritch boss is Orphan of Kos imo. I kinda wish they went more in that direction design wise. The spectacle and build up is amazing tho!
@@BousserwelNada I would say he's average; I'm just not a fan of his poisoning, his grab attack or the fact that the fight is a joke if you bait him with the cocktail or that the fight is non existent if you parry him. There might be some other things too small to even count as issues. I don't think Metyr is great, but I had much more fun with her on a 2nd playthrough than with most beast bosses in BB.
I do think Metyr is the worst boss of the dlc but even still I really like her spectacle and OST. Her moves look really cool and she has a really nice bloodborne esque design
yeah might even be the worst remembrance boss tbh. The cosmic atmosphere and bb vibes definitely carry her, and the arena with the giant tubes looks sick af (it’s way too small tho)
@@BousserwelNada There ain't nothing to fix, the boss is fine. You don't need your horse in literally every big arena, even elden beast was unnecessary
You were excellent from start to finish, I really like the atmosphere in this arena and you made him understand that in terms of Mage, you are the best haha GG ❤
"For a boss this peak cannot have a good drop." - GRRM ..telling Miyazaki to make his rememberance an incredibly niche incantation, even rivalling the use of dragon communion dragonbreath attacks and his MAIN WEAPON a Greatsword THAT COULDNT VE BEEN CLUNKYER with a glitched AoW in PVP. Far distant the community screams: "miyazaakiiiiiiii" "give me Midras moveset on his weaponn and my life is YOOUUURRSS!!!"
I mnow most people dont care so they hurt her but the granny's speech when shes uninjured go so hard. The "riseeee" as the beast moves like she breathed life into them through her prayer. And she hypes it up so good. It sets up the fight so good
By far, my favourite boss from the DLC. It's not a very complicated fight, but the atmosphere, the mysteries of the Scadutree itself, and the pure sadness coming from this poor sunflower. It may be abandoned, it still has the power of Gold itself, and it's nice that an item from the beginning, the tarnished golden sunflower, has an echo in a boss. The fight is usually so messy and chaotic, and most people just want it to die quickly because it's a battle of attrition, but you did the Scadutree Avatar justice. Good job buddy!
bro omg this boss fight was already one of ny favorites in the dlc but this literally made it 1000 times better you syncing your attacks alongside midra made this video an absolute blast to watch this is amazing
@@_snapple_bapple_ yes, I actually got another midra fight that I could upload lol (this time hitless), and feel like I should do metyr soon too since I haven’t done her at all. Besides those I’m not sure, maybe some other Elden ring dlc or main game bosses or I’ll do some bosses from DS3 and Bloodborne
no sabia que podia hacer un ataque de cada elemento sin cambiar previamente elevandose, hermano me encanto tu video y tu trabajo, hermosa coreografia esto que hiciste.
