I'm a railroad photographer from Windsor, Ontario Canada. Most of my train watching is done in and around Windsor and Essex County but I do venture Stateside and further east in Ontario to watch trains and take pictures and videos. In Windsor there are four railroads that operate here. Canadian Pacific (Windsor Subdivision), VIA Rail Canada (Chatham Subdivision), Essex Terminal Railroad (no subdivision name for their line), and Canadian National (Chatham Subdivision, Chrysler Spur, Windsor Subdivision, Pelton Spur, and CASO Spur). Windsor is the southern most city in Canada and borders Detroit, Michigan which is actually to our north. 1/4 of all North American trade passes through the city every year and CP runs multiple interchange trains to NS and CSX daily. Hope you like my videos! All locations are in the videos and descriptions.
Awesome vids & channel! The Soo 6027 was my leader engine out of London in 2009! I had to refuse the engine because of a seat defect. We made it the trailer and used the 2nd unit as leader. I put in over 25 years with CP. Retired for over 8 years.
Very nice layout, but most definitely not the Canadian Rockies spiral tunnels; which I have hiked for the past 40 years. What bugged me the most as a rail fan (but not a former) is the bell clanging. CPKC trains do not sound the bell anywhere in the mountains. It thought that the bell clanging made the video look like a department store layout.
Great stuff! I was just up the line at the 307 signals in Derry. I remember that eastbound with the NKP passing us about ten minutes earlier, you got lucky with your timing at Torrance! It must have really slowed down going through Latrobe for you to get out of Torrance and get all the way to 318. Good stuff thanks for sharing!
Thanks for sharing this layout tour video. As we celebrate 50 Years of N Scale model railroading 1973-2023, we love seeing dramatic scenery like this! Liked and subscribed and added to our N-spiration Playlist. Well done!
At 3:00, the Government of Canada Grain Hopper Cars have an 70s-80s look as if They are ALL fresh and clean, straight out of the Paint Shop. It is a Contrast with the Modern Day Locomotives pulling Them. Beautiful Layout though.
Hi CPWindsorsub, may I use your new clip "Amazon Driver Almost Causes MASSIVE Crash in Virginia" on my channel? with credit. Do you have a update? where did it happen?
