Yo Whats happening everybody? I'm Tyler and welcome to my RU-vid channel. Here you will see all kinds of content regarding anything automotive but mostly you will be seeing my ESS Tuning supercharged 2020 Mustang GT and my LQ9 powered 1992 Fox Body Mustang. could you post the link to this exact catch can? i can’t tell if it’s the strut brace mount one or not. They look the same to me but the prices are different so i’m not sure . Thank you

Does that Maverick have the 4K tow package? The 4K package gives you a lower differential ratio which can get the 0-60 down to around 6 seconds under ideal conditions and lots of brake boosting.

At the point where you select the firmware file for the upgrade portion the file you are looking for is an .eep file for the dominator/HP upgrade firmware. It will be located in the firmware folder for your new build 400 installation on your laptop.

I would say that's Zippy! When I got my first Mustang, 1993 GT convertible it went 10.0s in the 1/8 with Stock 5.0 AOD 2.73 gears.

Which intake manifold do you have? Mid rise?

Its actually just a Holley carb style intake with a Holley 4 BBL MPFI throttle body on top of it.

I drilled out my pvc (2.9 whipple) and still had it connected to the vacuum on the supercharger via a catch can , big mistake, instant smoke show at idle , blanked of the vacuum fitting and fitted a filter , all good, I’d fit the upr caps on the manifold

yeah having an open port in your PVC attached to vacuum would draw lots of oil out causing smoke. The UPR caps don't seem to provide a great seal to me, I can see my vac/boost gauge flutter when I rock the UPR cap on the manifold fitting. The rubber vacuum fitting doesn't leak. Vacuum/boost leaks are no good.

I understan S650 cant be flash or tune. But cAn I use HP tuner to data log mu data to read it after esch pass down the 1320?

I do not see the s650 on the hptuners supported vehicles list so I don’t think so. I believe Whipple is the only player right now and they have a tool called tomahawk I believe. It probably can for Whipple cars.

I believe UPR sells them now. It helps alleviate crankcase pressure due to ring blow by in a boosted application. You can also run a vented dual inlet catch can and do the same thing. I will be making a new video on that this week.

For going fast the auto is the way. Everybody thinks they are a great manual driver and can turn a number in a manual and most can't. Manuals break parts and spin tires unless you are willing to sacrifice the clutch on every pass.

@@russellbroadwell agreed it is, still doesn't mean it's fun to change reguarly. Look at every really fast car that exists in any form of drag racing. Other than like a straight cut gear Lenko the trans is always a 400 or a glide. I appreciate the guys that are able to continue to run the manual and make it work like yourself but the fact is the faster you get the harder it is to continue making it work well.

@@BoostJunkieMedia agreed! My car would probably be faster with an automatic, even though it's not fast in today's standard. I am just starting to make a significant amount of power overstock. So we will see how long clutches last. When I was a teenager and wanted a 5.0 mustang. I wanted a 5 speed car. There is a huge difference between a 400 with a stall and a brake vs a stock AOD :) . I need to get the 3rd gen back together PG may change my mind.

Comparing apples and oranges and still zippy car for what it is and doesn't sound like you. 'Ve put any muds on it. All depends on your use and what you do to it. That's saying I'm going to go to the drug ship and beat freakin on the Claire and are freaking John force. Hello, that's pretty fast for what it is and where you live as where you live on the East Coast. Elevation is different compared to if you live in Colorado. All depends on what you're doing. Elevation the mod, you do to it and again. Stock, no, it's not gonna do anything. Unfortunately, because the company manufacturers are limited to doing things to their cars because of EPA missions. It's not a bad car. Nothing's perfect.

As long as you have the puller and the LS stud it really is just like you saw in the video. That was actually my first time doing it.

Have you always used anti seize and dielectric. Everything I’ve read about these newer iridium plugs says not to use it

It depends on the application and how often I am changing the plugs. If I am changing them regularly then no but if its going to be some time between changes then I use a small amount of antiseize usually just to keep from ripping the threads out of the aluminum heads.

Quick question, when you downshift with the paddles, do you get the blow off whoosh with it?

Yes it does blow off some but not super loud. Its more related to the increased vacuum from the revs rising from the downshift.

Yeah. No thanks! I’m not paying $260+ for ATI overpriced removal/installation tool. I will figure it out with a regular 3 bolt puller and the same setup I use on regular LS balancers.

Yeah your prerogative man but messing around with the snout of the crankshaft is not a place to be using the wrong tools in my opinion. With a tool like this once you have the tool you will always have it for future projects. Good luck to you.

It's been a year, did you have any luck with it that way? Or is the port in the Radiator being that low get you right back Where you started?

I had not seen any issues with anything since moving the port to the radiator. its still higher than the port was in the water pump on the front of the motor. The port in the radiator is the highest point.

Definitely Higher than the water pump, Obviously. Long as it works it right-right. 👍 thanks. I was just wondering because of how low it is in the Radiator compared to hight of top of Motion block. If yours is working. I spent WAY, to much time on mine after asking you the question. Lol I was worried about my 1/4" drop 🤪

yes for AFR it is plug into the OBD2 port and thats it. The only one that is more work is boost reference.

yeah no problem. I was going to do the same thing but figured this was the safer route and it worked awesome. I didnt make a video on the installation but it was almost exactly the same. The big nut just pushes on the front side of the balancer to push it on instead of pulling it.

One of the videos on my channel is a stream of the actual install. It’s very self explanatory and they send a video that was already done of the install. Another full explanation of every step would be redundant and a waste of time.

Sorry for the late response. Yes it probably is possible but I don't like it looks. I prefer to see the engine. I am still on the OEM drive shaft yes.

Awesome video! love the content and information. Couple questions if you don't mind, I've got a 2021 5.0 and I'm looking at buying the G3 kit. my questions are, is the FPB absolutely necessary? Is it worth it to upgrade to the larger intercooler? Have you experienced any false knock or has the whine gotten louder over the last 11 months? (Some people recommended the quiet synchro gears) I plan on running 93 and keeping a stock fuel pump with the GT500 Injectors. Any advice or tips are much appreciated! Thanks in advance for the help! - J

The intercooler upgrade is the main reason to go with the G3 in my opinion unless you are looking to go E85 and make 800 HP + one day.
