James Pearce is the projected #1 pick. I thought he would be the highest rated especially some of the others rated above him are draft eligible too.

Great breakdown Bull. I expect this game to go pretty much like this. I like that we have a cerebral scheme for NIco. Taking what the defense gives us and exploiting it to the point they go out of their defensive schemes and we point up points the other way too. I think this will be a game where we don't show anything too fancy, just a lot of athleticism, RPO and rushing scores, as well as some big pass play busted coverage TD's downfield to work on long range accuracy. Would not shock me if we threw for nearly 350 or more and ran for another 200 plus, just kicking the tires, lightin the fires to see where we are at to start the season. As well as good, high IQ effective cerebral defense from the trenches to the secondary and see who is who at the position groups. I think this offense can go faster than the 22 offense and we'll see if we can get those 40 point first halves again to put the game away early.

I think Nico will get some reps but like you've said, Heupel will save Nico and Gaston for NC State which is week 2 the primetime matchup.

again... these stats are really laughable. for example, I'm not saying that Travis Hunter is bad... however he's nowhere near that good. They are just hyping the buffs. I watched the end of the Stanford game recently. Lowly Stanford had Hunter exposed as did many other teams last year. Maybe Pearce is our only top100 guy however we should have plenty of guys ranked in the 88-90 range.
