Learn how to build a multimillion-dollar business by winning government contracts.
I’m a Harvard and MIT educated Engineer turned Business Owner with a passion for teaching. After working in the White House and at a National Laboratory, I started a government contracting business and grew it into a multimillion-dollar business doing work with multiple federal agencies including DOE, DOD, NIH, FDA, NSF, and others.
Now I put my energies into teaching, and I’ve helped hundreds of thousands of students learn how to find, bid, and win profitable government contracts.
You are absolutely AMAZING! You speak so well and explain things so plainly, a child could follow your instructions and become successful. Thank you for sharing this information. Elohim is truly blessing and will continue to bless you. Thank you so very much!
i really appreciate this, my capability statement was missing two/third of what is required; as i got my format from somewhere else years ago... i made the corrections according to your guidance here, and i really look forward to putting it to use. again i appreciate so much your help.

@@FedAccess much appreciate the response. in sam is there a different search process for sap contracts or is the search process as you taught on the sam video's?
@@FedAccess also, am I understanding that the micro purchase search is more of a search thru making contact with the contract principals in each agency dept., or is there a specific site i should be looking at and learning for micro purchases? as in the video you only made reference to beta sam as I recall. if there are other sites specifically for micro purchases, if you don't mind, i'd greatly appreciate those sites as we are just starting to learn about govt. contracting, and I'd like to be as well versed and informed as possible, and per your guidance mp's, sap's, and sub'n are the best ways for a young and small company in govt. contracting. fyi, we are sdvob certified, as well as minority owned... working on dbe thru ga and a few others... pressed pause on 8a thanks to you, and hubzone i just don't feel like we need being a homebased right now, tho we are in hubzone... super appreciation to you tho, as i've learned so much in recent weeks watching your video's over and over on this profile and on my personal profile; you've been a real gift from God.
Contracts over $25,000 are listed in SAM. For smaller purchases, different agencies, different buying offices, use different websites. There really is no better approach than to meet with your target customer and ask them how they purchase what you sell. You could also ask them about HubZone: they might tell you they don't need HubZone contractors or they could tell you they do need them and encourage you to apply. Good luck!
I'm sure you already know this, but in Claude 3.5 Sonnet you can actually create a Project in which you can have a series of prompts/responses to create and then refine your proposal. One main feature of Projects is that they use a knowledge base into which you can upload your SOW, proposal instructions, capability statement and any other pertinent document. Claude will automatically reference the data in the knowledge base to carry out your prompts. It's like having your own writing intern!
Your videos are a blessing! I thank God for you. Quick question. What is the most effective way to find subcontractors per NAICS? Looking to create a directory of partnerships.
If you are looking for businesses that are registered in SAM, you can use DSBS to search for small businesses by NAICS code. DSBS allows you to filter by lots of things, such as State.
Thank you for your information. Since I just received my CAGE code, many companies are contacting me. One owner of those consulting company just told me I cannot bid or win Government Contract unless I get my certification and they can get me certification for $3500.
I do training here, and I have a course on Udemy. For personal mentoring, I recommend three organizations: SBDC, SCORE, and APEX. Those three organizations provide free help.
I requested an *Entity Name Change* on SAM, which was successful however, the updated name is *NOT* reflected on DIBBS. SAM retained the initial CAGE code and so did DIBBS but the old entity name still shows up on DIBBS. I was unsuccessful in reaching a human representative to help with thus issue. As a result I'm unable to complete my DIBBS registration. Any suggestions?
I suggest you contact your local APEX Accelerator for help. Their help is free: they are paid by the government to help small businesses with government contracting.
Has anyone run into this when applying for grants. Required to Fill out SF-LLL form, which is about 'declaring lobbying, but I'm not a lobbyist. I'm Simply applying for a government grant.

Hi Kathy, thank you very much for your valuable education resources, I am an engineer by degree and turned business owner, we provide contract manufacturing services. I have watched most of the your videos, and as follow your guidance, the result I have entities sending me request for solicitation and I am on the process of response ( with the help with SBDC officer). I would like to ask you at this stage of my development , is it good for me to register to contracted management course at NCMA?
Congratulations on your success! I have never taken their courses so have no first hand experience with them. I'm glad you've signed up with SBDC. Have you also signed up with APEX? They have some useful (free) training.
I subscribed and getting the course, so much great add thorough information, I appreciate you and this channel which will prevent me from spending thousands on the same and even more in depth info. God bless
