Nice finish... but not really a restoration if you change the colour, glue in the rivets, cut off the original Insignia replacing for the wrong ones and remove the headliner... looks nice from the outside though.
I really hope to have one of these soon. A lot of fakes selling on Ebay. This one looks all original, even the decals. I would have left it alone but you did a great job and I like your channel
That's a shame whereas this ammo box was originally painted with a red primer, then a panzer grey paint, and, at the end, a sand colour... We can see those 3 colours at the beginning of your restoration, just before you made everything disappear... You didn't respect this piece of history !
@@survivaltime8780 Your welcome. I will say that they are a pain to install correctly. But it can be done. I turned a couple M40/55 Finnish helmets into M-35 helmet's by adding the rivet's.
this is my hobby to. I often use an angle grinder and fibre glass. car body filler. we buy rusty empty shells and transform them into there past glory, a second life. Nothing wrong in this video what he's done. I know where you are coming from, but if it's a rusty shell with no markings (and liner) what have you got to lose ? He done a brilliant job. you should try it, it's satisfying, rewarding restoring. I'm on his side. well done Mr Restorer.
