Arc 7 and 8 are wasted potential when it comes to rem and Al Also fk Priscilla. She's toxic and the story never punishes her for that like it does to Subaru or others
I think al and subaru are supposed to be the "hero", but they know they can't live up to the identity everyone including themselves think they should be. Rezero is a story about love, identity and subverting fate. Lots of characters in re zero feel stuck or trapped in their fates/roles, yet subaru made people like emilia, beako, rem and others can still change or grow past their "established" roles
I think arc 8 built up the end game, subaru is once again dealing with his hero complex, we see how al might be what subaru becomes if he doesn't know WHEN to give up and things will change forever for all involved parties
Man im glad this series is over but damn the ending was just a disappointment not even on a high not Deku: this is how I became the greatest hero... Reader: so that was lie...
Nah even Attack On Titan had a better ending than My Hero Academia because it actually felt none of the characters were wearing ridiculously thick plot armor and it actually felt all the problems plaguing the world (the Titans and the racism towards Eldians) were solved
@@arpanroy9177 Montage of Class A's remaining two years at UA. 8 year time skip. Deku's a teacher at UA and is quirkless. We see that the kid from the start of the first war arc is attending UA as a first year and Deku encourages him to keep going. All Might (who is now much older) gives deku a suit and new support gear, and class A (now as adults) run off together all suited up as pro heroes. Very abridged summary but this is basically the gist of it 👍

Deku should've never went back to U.A, story wise. It needed a changed and it would've made sense, as the story gets darker. Also, the scenes in the school was just soo boring
I think it’s important for Re:Zero as a sort of isekai parody to have its own take on a “foreign nation” arc. Re:Zero subverts a lot of these isekai tropes, and seeing a more brutal take of the stranger in a strange land (again) arc is really cool. Plus it lets Tappei address sidestory lore, introduce supporting characters, world build outside Lugunica.
I just caught up to chapter 429 yesterday and while I had an absolutr blast reading over 50+ chapters the past few days, I'm only now realizing how lackluster the story and execution of this arc is, despite my enjoyment

Man, Shouko is such a fucking FRAUD, she's known to be the best healer/doctor in verse because she can use RCT on others, literally only 3 people so far can do that, YUTA, Sukuna and Shouko, but what did she do? She accomplished NOTHING and she literally could've SAVED gojo, one of her only classmates still alive at the time. We didn't even SEE her reaction to when he died we saw her reaction DURING the fight and she was smoking a shit ton of cigs because she was stressed out, obviously she cared about him platonically and guess what after he died the next time we saw her she was ready to take his brain out and shove Yuta's in so Yuta can do a Kenny impression on Gojo's body. Bruh. IAnd then all of the sudden, like 20 chapters after gojo's death, it got revealed that Shouko didn't even see gojo as a person, only YUJI and YUTA saw him as a person but one of his closest friends from a young age didn't???????????? what the fuck gege. Everything the "best healer/doctor" in verse did so far was, heal some ppl off screen at the end of shibuya, smoked some cigs during Gojo's fight, and swap Yuta's brain which IMO she probably wasn't even needed for that because kenny was probably doing that shit by himself. Oh i almost forgot, she didn't use RCT to heal gojo's body, she stitched it up...................... bruh...... she couldn't use RCT to even do that..... the ONE THING she's known for........ You cooked a lot in this video but I don't think Uraraka being fruity with Toga was supposed to be appealing to the male gaze, it was the FREAKS in the MHA community who loved it because it was a potential LGBT inclusion, it wasn't and it wasn't intended to be teased as such it's just some parts of the MHA fandom are absolute scum and can't read the story if they're not reading about how characters want to have sex or something. They sent death threats to Horikoshi for drawing the characters at the beach. My brother it's not that serious, it's not even canon it's a literal sketch. Remember when grape-head said he loves Deku but clearly that wasn't a love confession? But Twitter, lacking critical thinking skills, ate that up. We live in an age where 2 characters can't just have platonic relationships with each other, it has to be more, and a lot of the time, it's same-sex relationships which in turn, ruins the chemistry the relationship would've had otherwise. I've seen people say maki and Nobara are gay for each other because Nobara rested her head on Maki's shoulders................ Bruh........ Nobara literally said she wanted a boyfriend but clearly, she was being dishonest and now she's dead so surely we'll never know her TRUE sexuality can't take that boyfriend comment at face value. Take a look at the Genshin community, almost every single character there is gay according to the fandom which makes 0 sense logistically or irl in the sense that Mihoyo is a Chinese company and it's pretty much very illegal to be gay in china but these ppl forget that. Even if there are a couple gay characters in Genshin all of that is only ever hidden behind speculation and literal side quests you gotta go out of your way and interpret as such etc. And if you question that or say that you see the character is straight it's instant backlash. Ok i'm sorry, now i'm just ranting on these fucking weird ass shipper freaks on twitter who will and have attacked artists for drawing certain characters in straight relations.
