Thank you for the video I’m happy to hear that everything is stable 👍🏻♥️ My doctor said at end of the month I have to choose between ocrevus or kesimpta 💔🥹 I was going to choose kesimpta because I hate my doctor and the hospital that was a good reason for me 😂 but with this news it’s getting hard to choose between them + my doctor didn’t give any information I have to search but English is my second language so it hard to know everything especially medical terminology. If there’s any advice from anyone can help me ❤ stay strong 💪🏻

Have you tried Coimbra protocol? It’s basically much higher vitamin D3 doses. I’ve been trying 20-40 thousand IU of D3+K2 and magnesium, omega3, B complex, choline. I had a very bad relapse in June and now after 1,5 months of Coimbra protocol I feel amazing, I did blood test, my Vitamin D is 81 now and calcium is in norm. So I will stick to it from now on.

Hi Tom thanks for making the video been quite helpful. I’ve seen 3 doctors now and finally on the waiting list to see a neurologist. My symptoms started with my eyesight seemed to happen overnight couldn’t make out the figures on my screens but didn’t think to much of it. Then I’ve had numbness and tingling felt like prickly heat and static electric sensation which spread up my back into arms, also major fatigue and trying to walk felt like I was trying to walk under water. Also had a squeezing sensation in the tricep area and bolts of pain. Wish I’d of gone to A&E now my numbness started in April but didn’t get my referral till July and on a 18 week waiting list.

@@tomgarbett77 Its quite a lot to explain on here but its definitely worth looking into. I came across you when I was approved for Ocrevus out here in South Africa this year but haven't started it yet as came across this other protocol which i have now managed to do and so seeing how that goes first. If you send me your number or email i can explain more. "Solving the MS Mystery" by Hal Huggins or "Hidden Epidemic" by Thomas Levy are good places to start. This documentary also gives some nice back ground in simple terms: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vGusDIvEHAo.html Essentially it all relates to your oral health and the dental work one has had and then the process of undoing that in the right way. Resonated with me as i had metal fillings, root canals and cavities after previous wisdom extractions. By all means give me a shout though.

@rosieposie9564 Месяц назад
Thanks for the update and you do look well! I was only diagnosed earlier this year and I am not on any treatment yet. Ocrevus was recommended for me but I declined as I did not like the side effect profile. This news will probably not have any direct impact on me until I decide to start treatment but it will perhaps lead to greater convenience for others. Tom, may I ask out of interest and for comparison with my own MS management, how many times a year do you have an appointment with a neurologist?
@tomgarbett77
@tomgarbett77 Месяц назад
Ah right, what side effects worry you most about Ocrevus? I found it to have the least side effects compared to other treatments when I was comparing. In terms of appointments with my neuro, it's about once a year at best! Is that the same with you?
@rosieposie9564
@rosieposie9564 Месяц назад
@@tomgarbett77 Yes, my neurology appointments will be once a year now too but I do have an appointment with the clinical nurse specialist in between. I thought once a year to see the neurologist seems like a long time. Regarding the Ocrevus, I read on Wikipedia of all places that the rate of cancer in people on Ocrevus is as much as 3 times higher than patients given a placebo. I worry about serious infections as well that I have heard of some Ocrevus patients getting. I did ask the neurologist specifically about PML which seems deadly and terrifying and he said he had only had one PML patient in his rather long career. Knowing my luck, if I was on Ocrevus I would probably be his second.
@tomgarbett77
@tomgarbett77 Месяц назад
@@rosieposie9564 Yeah it is frustrating and really should be more regular appointments in my opinion. Also my neurologist always seems to be running behind when I have an appointment and tries to get me in and out as quickly as possible! Yeah I knew there was an increase in breast cancer from trials. And PML is much strongly associated with Tysabri than it is Ocrevus, so I think you would be fine in that case. But I do think the end goal with me is to not be any treatment because at the end of the day you are tampering with your own immune system which can't be good!
@rosieposie9564
@rosieposie9564 Месяц назад
@@tomgarbett77 I am not supremely impressed with my MS neurologist either. Before my care was handed over to him, I was being seen by a general neurologist who was much more thorough and attentive. Not being on treatment is a gamble. I am just hoping my diet and lifestyle changes will be enough to keep me relapse free for a while at least. I hope that the trials of the BTK inhibiters will be successful as I think I might like them better than the drugs which are currently on the market. I think we all would rather not be on any immune system tampering treatment but I am glad the Ocrevus is keeping your MS stable.

I don't see this as a game changer I'm afraid... considering the research I've been doing and why I believe there was a diagnosis of that MS (using distancing words as not to own it!) Is the Epstein Bar Virus. Glandular fever as a child looking like the culprit. Immune supportive rather than disabling it seems counter productive. Gut biome and anti inflammatory diet is definitely required. Finding more info every day. Big pharma isn't interested in helping us... profit over cure! Don't trust them one iota!
@tomgarbett77
@tomgarbett77 Месяц назад
Yes EBV definitely appears to play a part. Not exactly causation, but a required element to trigger the condition. A lot of the reason people think Ocrevus is useful is because it attacks part of the B cells, which is where EBV liks to hang out. That's one theory anyway. But I 100% agree that fixing your gut microbiome and leaky gut is more important than any meds, as the research shows how linked diet is to autoimmune conditions.

What is the role of CCSVI Venous Hypertension and proper/improved Cerebrospinal Blood flow?? #CCSVI #BloodFlowMatters CCSVI is definitely one of the causes of MS. The novelty for some years is that we are certain that, after studying at the La Sapienza University of Rome, there are 3 types of CCSVI: * a 1 type with patients suffering from an obstacle to the endovacular venous discharge, i.e. due to congenital or acquired anomalies that restrict and block the drainage of the investigated veins (jugular, vertebral, azygos) * a 2nd type with patients suffering from an extra-vascular venous obstruction, i.e. due to external compression of the vessel * a 3 type with patients suffering from endo-vacular and extra-vascular venous obstruction So to simplify we can say that there is a CCSVI of the "hydraulic" type (1 type), a CCSVI of the "mechanical" type (2 type) and a "mixed" CCSVI of the two previous types (3 type), the 2 and the 3 type represent about 85% of cases. A patient with type 1 CCSVI will have a greater indication for angioplasty treatment, a patient with type 2 CCSVI will have a specific indication for specific physiotherapy decompressive treatment (RIMA Method), a patient with type 3 CCSVI it will have an indication for both an endo-vascular dilatation treatment and an extra-vascular decompression treatment. The RIMA Method devised by Dr. Domenico Ricci of Bari is able to release compressed veins throughout their course, as shown by a publication of June 2015 after a one-year study (Internal jugular Venous Compressione Syndrome: hemodynamic outcomes after cervical vertebral decompression manipulations-Pubmed). Interesting you say that because I consumed a lot of whey protein throughout my late teens and up until my diagnosis. 1. Plants with seeds actually rely on being eaten in order to be spread and to germinate elsewhere, so anthropomorphising them with this 'desire to kill us because they don't want to be eaten' is ridiculous. 2. It is very well documented that a diet higher in whole grains - which was the ONLY dietary influence shown to have any statistically significant impact on MS - is associated with better disease outcomes. Whole grains, if you notice, are from plants. 3. I know you mean well, but you're not a scientist nor a doctor so please stop spreading information - especially as reckless as recommending a diet which is associated significantly with all-cause mortality, particularly heart disease and cancer.

Also to most of the scientific and medical community, Dr. Gundry is an absolute quack. Yes he has a bestselling book, but that's because shock factor sells.

Great video - did you consider hsct? Hitting the disease hard in early years
@arturo.aris.rod.28
@arturo.aris.rod.28 Месяц назад
I personally have MS and it was my first choice. I said I would take HSCT and hit the disease hard, but my neurologist recommended trying Ocrevus first. If it fails, then I would make the leap to HSCT. It's not a procedure to be taken lightly, but it's the closest thing we have to a 'cure', so now we wait for Ocrevus to do its job. If not, well, another battle awaits.

Thank you for sharing. I am about same age got diagnosed this winter. Yeah I am quite fine with it but got some little issues due nervepain and solve it with movement and ice bathing ^^. Getting diagnosed is of course frecking bad but nowadays, affected people are quite lucky there is so much different ways controlling ure path of progression. Anyways I feel connected to ur story and that makes the truth about beeing affected by this condition a bit easier cause ur not alone with it. Take care and I wish u all the best! Greetings from Swizzie mountains =)

Now, you posted this a while ago, but, you need to know that there is a cure for MS. They found it in 1987. "We" should feel ashamed but, where do "we" rank? You know that it begins to make sense. I like the study from 2017. That's my favorite. Look it up. Type: World Healthcare Rankings. You can type the year and presto. It's so weird.

If you were eating honey, perhaps it wasn't raw honey. Most honey isn't raw. I got honey advertised to be "raw" from a local butcher, and it turned out to be adulterated. Clearly bad for health as it gave me splitting headaches and strange jaw ache symptoms. My sister has exactly the same symptoms after eating it. Adulterating honey is a huge industry. Statistically far more honey is consumed than is produced by bees.
