I watched your boat refit and you might put foam board insulation under all the plastic liners you added. Really anywhere you can place even just a half inch of foam board on the aluminum below the water line would make a huge difference.

Great footage of a beautiful wild place. How worrying is it on a scale of 1-10 to see a bear paw print on the snow? Also, the ropes stopped your boat tipping over, correct? Or the shape of the hull made it stand stable on the river bed? Thanks!

18:54 if you can not verify an immediate need to land, why risk making the situation worse? Two boats stranded is worse than one, not to mention your dinghy would be liable to flip in those waves. You handled this situation perfectly.

I’m new to your channel and enjoying it. BUT.... I own an X-55 yacht in Hong Kong that I’ve taken offshore often. It seems to me that you have an awful lot of stuff down below that would cause problems -- flying around the place -- in an offshore passage. Sure, you stowaway stuff, but still... there’s an awful lot of it... Can you talk about that sometime: How you stow the stuff when you’re offshore in the wilds of the Arctic North?
My understanding is that Aluminum boats have a very short lifetime. The corrosion is simply impossible to prevent, so eventually they will leak and should be discarded. And there is no way to really fix them..that does not cost more than a new boat.
