We have used this camera for nearly seven years to record town meetings and special events and have not taken the time to study ways to improve quality but it bothers me often, especially when videoing a special event. I am so grateful to see this video and have now subscribed to your channel. I should have known, these cameras are like little computer devices in themselves and need to be "learned" like anything else.
Thank you so much for this. I have a question. My screen displays a bunch of squares and it doesn’t give a beep before shooting and just shoots. Any tips on how to for this?
Please turn off the background music. Use a pencil end or something similar to point to the camera buttons or menu items instead of your finger. Point the camera to the video recorder instead to yourself.
I am just now learning how to edit videos and use Premier Pro. I have taken tons of video up skiing and have only published a couple, mainly from my iPhone. Learn, learn, learn. Thanks you helped out a lot.
How much does the mic weight? Is it light the whole setup looks awesome even though it was long time ago. Planning on doing the same have a gopro 6. What’s your setup nowadays? Upgraded?
Great video. One question:. When I go back to look at the photos on the camera (using display) alongside each photo there are two graphs (one in color and one in black and white). Any way to delete these? When I first used the camera they didn't appear, but I think I accidentally pushed something that caused these "graphs" to appear
Thanks for sharing Ryan! Can you tell me where you purchased the handle you have connected to the camera?? Thanks so much for simplifying how to use the camera.
i noticed the last comment was almost 2 years ago, i am new to this camera, yes i know it probably old, but i am having trouble with the focus, any time i try to take an up close photo it will not focus properly. i am not sure on the setting and how to get it to the orginal factory so i can start fresh
On my T7 no matter what I do it won't let me autofocus and when I try to press the shutter button to auto focus it does nothing but tell me I can't take photos in video mode. I have all the settings at a point where it should work, but no matter what I do this happens every time. I am wanting to start vlogging when I go on vacation in a few weeks, do you think there is any way to fix this or should I just buy a camera better suited for vlogging?
I’d take a look at the lens and make sure it is in the AF position first. If that doesn’t work then there’s something turned off preventing af from working at all. Take some time to dive through the menus. Good luck!
Have you tried manual lens on this setup handheld with no stabilizer? I have a GH5S and (FD lenses) I just found out that it didn’t have IBIS and debating on trading it for a GH5
If you are typically taking outdoor portraits should you still leave settings in neutral images? or portrait and lower sharpness and contrast -4 thank you!
Five reasons to not like the GX80/85: 1/ 16Mp sensor 2/ No fully articulating screen 3/ No fully articulating screen 4/ No fully articulating screen 5/ No fully articulating screen Other than that it is a great little camera.
