It's the best scene Scorsese has ever done, in the opinion of someone who (probably) hasn't seen many of his movies. It's still a good segment.

Daniel Day Lewis in *Gangs of New York* ... *Taxi Driver* have a couple of amazing one too... The final scene in front of the mirror in *Ragging Bull* ... Sharon Stone in *Casino* has couple of amazing good scene too (first time De Niro Sees her in the casino ) ... Jack Nicholson in *The Departed* too ...
