Batman Forever - Deleted Opening (with added score & sound FX) 

I give you my 100th Like! Definitely would've made a big difference between the theatrical cut and the Schumacher cut that I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for it to be released. Plus as a Jim Carrey fan and the fact that The Riddler was the movie's primary villain, having him be introduced before Two-Face makes more sense to me.

They should have kept this as the opening scene as Two-Face breaking out of Arkham Asylum, and then went ahead in time to open into the bank robbery scene (which was the actual opening scene). It would have given the film a much darker opening scene and it would have made sense to show Two-Face escaping from Arkham Asylum like that, writing "The Bat Must Die" in blood, and then going forward a few months or 1 year later or whatever to go right into Batman suiting up to stop Two-Face at the bank.

LOVE the shot from 0:30 - 0:35. Such surprisingly palpable atmosphere. Fantastic choice of music, too.

its crazy that they deleted some of the best scenes from the movie, i really liked Batman Forever, it wasnt as Bad as Batman and Robin. The deleted scenes have alot of Burton influence on them. But the studio probably thought them to be too scary for children and tossed them out.

If you added the foley and sound effects then GREAT JOB! is seamless and I can't tell they were added. Usually the sign of a great foley editing

You should do this with the entire movie. I love Batman Forever, but the deleted scenes are great and should have been in the final cut.

This would have really made Batman Forever one of my favorites, but as it stands, it's not that great of a movie (except for every part with Nichole Kidman... DAMN she's super hot!!!)

Well I really enjoyed the film as a kid, so I would say they did a good job.

Leonel - I actually completed an extended cut of the movie that includes all the deleted scenes from the DVD. Unfortunately, at the time I made it I was not as knowledgeable about the best methods of ripping the video, thus the somewhat shoddy image quality you see here. I'll probably upload my "completed" versions the other scenes sometime soon, if youtube doesn't blow me up for it.

The recent opening from the final cut in my opinion is better. This was raw but ok.

Nolan is punching Warner with every film he makes. And Warner likes it, they like it! xD They deserve much worse.
