You know, the misses wouldn't bother me so much if the enemies just played a little single-frame dodge animation or something. Just a little tactile feedback. Missing is fine, but ya gotta package it up and sell it!

I seriously wish Bethesda (Whith major help), would remake all the old Elder Scrolls games up to the quality of Skyrim with mod support available. Obviously some changes would be necessary, such as art style on some places to better be consistant (People who don't like the change can always mod the new version to be more like the old style if they want.) But man imagine playing these old stories with new gameplay style and graphics. FOr Daggerfall some changes would need to be made, keep the story options at the very least but change the world a bit to better line up with the scale of Skyrim, and they'd have to downsize cities a bit, but could still keep the 3 major Kingdoms as big, maybe use Elder Scrolls Online's world space as a basis but just expand the region with more towns acting as "kingdoms" with it just being said that in the chaotic fractured tie after Tharn's defeat these smaller Kingdoms popped up plunging the Illiac Bay into further chaos. Maybe even change how the endings play out that we could see them in effect, or let us be able to explore the aftermath of the choices we made, or explore the aftermath of the "Warp In THe West", and alow us to replay the game in these alternate timelines to see how their effects came to be. Either way Bethesda picks and chooses parts of endings so we can see the "canon" Warp In The West ending where parts of the other endings manifest in the prime timeline. Maybe even have the Agent in the end just have a very bad headache from their multiple selves remerging into one and leaving the Agent with jumbled memories from different timelines.

I really want to enjoy this video, but the blatent and constant plagiarism from LGR's video is really disappointing.

Awesome video I loved the Godfather clip you played. It so much machs my feelings. I feel like this with every new release. When playing oblivion i was missing so much from morrowind. The levitation, the spears, crossbows, shurikens etc, and above all the massive clothes/amor layers. I mean having only 4 pieces of armor at a time was an insult, when in morrowind you could wear like 20 pieces a time Your video made me realize things about morrowind i dindn't know i knew, but you putting it in words made me think "AHA!". Like the near-real/near-alien structures and fauna and stuff And OH BOY, your description of the different stages of the corprus disseasse, going from sleepers to ash zombies and more, was really terrifying! I never stoped to think they were all related, and diffefent steps of the sickness. I saw them all like diferent creatures of the evil (all of them fodder to my sword lol). Alsoi never realised they have no eyes! what is a hole in the face i though it was a painting or mask, like racoon eyes. (mainly becouse of the poor lighting around). Truth is creepy af! Lovely video, and lovely game

2:32 i forgot the name but this game you call "generic and mediocre" gave my brother and me countless hours of coach jedi play When i've seen those frames back now, i've felt divided by the joy of seeing it and the hurtful of your words :( I also played Republic Comando on XBOX, and it was AWESOME. Thanks for the memories :)

I guess that over the years the expression GET GOOD has become pedantic and pretencious But actually is the best advice. Get good: by playing and playing, and memorizing, improving and putting effort on it. That's how you get good. That's how we all have done (or will do) But also, my advice is: just get good at what you are interested in, otherwise you will be forcing yourself and it will be a pain and also the result won't shine as it could/should. I mean, if you love something, is just gonna be natural that you pour yourself into it. If not, then maybe seek somewhere else Peace yo! and git gut!

Excellent video one think you didn't mentioned, and i don't like from modern games is the overcharged user interface (the screen and the info) wich takes me out from inmersion and discovery It's pretty clear at 1:06:07, when you can compare a new and old game First whe see starfield, where before you SEE and animal you already perceive a glow, and floating letters and bars. So you know you have to shoot there, without even seeing what it is. That's dumb But in the next sequence, we see fallout new vegas, you walking in the desert, and seeing first a brown dot camoufled in the surrounding. You keep walking and it seems to be a dog-like creature. you keep walking and it is a coyote. And you also see that he is watching you. No needed info. No bars no numbers. Just you, your enemy and your fists in between

You say that this is a shift from how people used to talk about Soulslike games in the past, but I distinctly remember hearing this exact debate back in the days. Some people saying "Dark Souls is difficult", and then there's a wild debate between people who think that means "I'm a baby who wants every game to be baby friendly or I cry", and people who thinks it means "You are all crybaby suckers who shouldn't be allowed to vote or own property until you're as good as me at video games now kiss my boot", and neither side makes any progress because they're both just yelling logical reasoning at different brick walls on opposite sides of town.

1:20:35 Just wanted to correct you on a small detail: "Punk" doesn't translate to "style" - Steampunk, Cyberpunk, etc. don't just mean "in the style of Cyber" or "Cyber with style" or something. The "punk" culture refers to an act of rebellion against the status quo, a rejection of society as it stands, and the expression of a desire for something different. In the case of "Cyberpunk" this refers to a rebellion against a world in which technology has run amok, where reliance on modern convenience has gone out of control, and the population has grown apathetic and despondent due to this overreliance on technology. In the case of Frostpunk, it is a game about humanity rebelling against the great Frost. A world that is dying due to a global ice age and mankind's struggle to overcome. Steampunk is a rebellion against an overreliance on analogue, steamdriven mechanization, and so forth. The original "punks" of the world rebelled against conformity and the status quo, rejecting suits and clean cut hair, and 9-to-5 jobs, etc. Needless to say, there is absolutely no "rebellion" against anything to be found in Starfield's "Nasapunk" world. They evidently did not understand the assignment, and incorrectly assumed that you could just slap the word "punk" at the end of any concept or style you wanted and it would mean something. Starfield is the antithesis of "punk" - safe, predictable, generic, and utterly unchallenging of any kind of status quo or prevalent belief system.

Credit for making this video. It seems to be a genuine and well thought out critique just like your other videos. I’m passing on this video however because after watching a few Starfield videos, I genuinely feel this is blandest game Bethesda could have made. I don’t think they’ll be able to No Man Sky their way outta this one.

This was one of my first intros to open world RPGs that weren't Zelda on the NES or JRPGs like Lunar Silver Star on Sega CD. And it blew my mind. Then Morrowind came out and blew out the last bits.
