Forgiveness between men and women can unfold in interesting ways due to our different life experiences - how we approach it, show up for it, and ultimately decide on it. Although approaches are different, it remains a fundamental aspect of human connection and nature. Yes, forgiveness is something you sometimes do for the people you love, BUT ultimately, forgiveness arises from the innate need for inner peace.
Tune in to this episode of Hush, as the girls and their guest, Nicholas Yeam (of The Hop Pod!), share their perspectives on how each gender shows up differently for this beautiful but complicated word: Forgiveness.

Nic's finally here AHAHA Agree on the parents' thing too, they didn't know better. What we siblings did for our parents (at least after we grew up), was we called them out on these behaviors sometimes, but just to make them more aware of it. I think even at their age, it's not too late to reflect on these behaviors and improve on it. 14:00 same response as Nic and Azura... it's my no.1 big NO NO, even w/o kids. I can relate with Azura, same mindset on relationships, I give my best, but I can move on really fast too. I think it's a principles-based decision, because I've thought about it extensively prior to getting in one and also seen how many people waste too many years of their 'prime' salvaging an unlikely/lost relationship. 28:08 That too, that's one of my criteria(s), talking about difficult topics. I observe a lot of people actively avoid these, like they just shut off, not just guys though and it definitely doesn't help things. As mentioned, simply communicating is not enough, you have communicate well, validate each other's views and not be dismissive. Also, it helps to remind that, the end goal of it all is walking out of it better, together ; a common goal. Going about it with this in mind helps one to be less defensive when going about it.

as someone who is clueless in relationships in the mid 20s (yes never been in one) I'm learning a lot from you guys, emotional intelligence is a very important aspect for me personally and understanding others' perspectives on this especially within sg is enlightening 😝

It’s seems to me most of them only like to see things from their perspective. A wiser person also see things from the other angle to have a better overall picture of the issue. Looking at the intent & not jus the action is a good one. It show your maturity.

it was something between them.... and i personally dont think it was super important to tell the father... its not like the "R" word or her getting pregnant.. that needs to be told to the father... stressing over school work isnt a big thing... but her thinking that was an actual trauma is a bit to much kdrama LOL

Forgive and forget still doesn't solve the underlying issue. Most ppl nowadays will go with forgive but never forget and that why most rs will still eventually ends.
