To be honest, I'm glad that Linux is not popular to the mass public. Because if it is, it would be the most targeted OS for attacks. So Linux is in a good state where it is. Even Apple and MS run Linux servers. I'm pretty sure that developers will use various Linux distros as basis for developing the latest Windows OS or the latest Mac OS. And personally, like many others, I'm glad to be using Linux because I've given life back into my 15 year old laptop.

I have the LG ultra gear OLED ultra wide and it comes with features in the settings so that you can use it as a regular monitor so you’d have black borders on the sides or use it as a full ultrawide. Best of both worlds
