I have and will continue to be completely confident that Berdly made the library dark word. In the spelling bee cutscene, Berdly says that he wanted to create a world for him and Noelle, and given that pretty much the only requirement for making a fountain is for a lightner to put their will into a blade -easily a pencil in this case- Berdly could have accidentally made the fountain when thinking about his world with Noelle.
I think the roaring knight is a diffrenet entity than just being the knight because like queen said anyone can open a dark fountain. But everyone doesn't want to cause the roaring
9:56 queen says she was jsut assuming based on the knight's actions, the only interaction the cyber world has with the knight is the video that queen took
24:03 yes but spamton comes to them AFTER they rebel and it seems to have been a while (and since spamton literally lives in a trash can i assume it would take a while for the news to reach him)
determination probably isn't red, it's never associated with red, its probably gold (like save points, frisk's skin, undyne's eye) also before you say the save points say DETERMINATION in red, nope, replay the game to look, it's white, only the "X left" the "That comedian..." and "The comedian escaped... Failure."
@TheSoph_ You know what's funny haven't anyone here think that Yeah Gaster might be a possibility but what about the ANGEL like the one spoken of in The Legend with the line "Banish Angel's Heaven" like anyone else thought of that possibility yeah I'll say it Gaster could also be The ANGEL but at the same time it can be just a New Character similar to Flowey in a way where the entire time the ANGEL is just giving them advice direction maybe even Predictions as to what would happen. It would even explain why the Roaring Knight would always seem to be ahead of us at all times almost hmm? 🤔
19:02 A music themed dark world could focus on: - Different genres and eras of music - Different singers + performers from the game - Concerts / Live Performances / Music Videos - Various Instruments - Vinyls + Records - Sheet Music - Singing, Choirs, Karaoke, I think there is a lot of ideas that can fit, especially since Toby Fox is a musician I have no doubts whatsoever he could pull a whole dark world out of music alone. There's also some interesting things you can look into. For one the Purple Soul ability obviously fits really well with the whole sheet music thing, there's also various character interactions like with Kris normally being good at piano when not being controlled.
I think the extra chapters probably serve some purpose, but not as a playable chapter, but something else, something purely mechanical. However, given how deep this game goes with it's meta narrative, I wouldn't put it past Toby for those chapters to have some relevance in that greater meta narrative. It could even be that by "banishing the angels heaven" whats actually happening is we are being banished and those last chapters are not available to us because we are no longer able to access the world. But it could also just be like a test area to try out ideas before putting them in the game to avoid any programming conflicts or breaking stuff, but then might also llay a role in the meta narrative similar to the Goners so who knows.
Random thought I got while watching but I wonder if the Bunker will actually be explored in Chapter 4? I've seen a lot of people suggest Chapter 4 will take place mainly in the light world, and I feel like exploring the bunker would be a great way to still get gameplay out of something like that. Just a hunch though I don't have much to back it up.
The Narrator of the Goner Maker sequence isn't all that pessimistic. They even ask you to give your creation a gift! Another thing to add is that the gifts are, for the most part, positive aspects that can make the world better, like compassion. The only non-positive gifts are more neutral ones, like voice, which can be used for good or evil. The person that interrupts them, however, could definitely be evil. They tell you that your creation is going to be thrown away, you can't choose anything, and they force you into Kris' body. Another thing to add is that this person is ultimately proven wrong, as our choices have direct impacts. Villains are often proven wrong in stories.
I think this is spiritually true in that there aren't multiple knights, but multiple wannabe knights, which is how the roaring can remain a threat even when the knight isn't around to cause it
2:56 love the delivery on this line ^u^ cool vid also im now realizing that if the CH3 fountain was opened by Kris, and he isnt the Roaring Knight who opened the fountains of CH1+2, then it means by default that there is more than one knight. i could be wrong. still a good chance that the first 2 fountains were opened by the same person. there is a possiblity that the ch4 fountains and beyond could be opened by others
Cant wait for Rudy in ch3 epilogue to say something like "sorry noelle! I thought yesterday was saturday, but thats today! I will go to church tomorrow"
so uhh. all the light world only stuff in the newsletter. all of their file names were lsited as Ch4... so if anything. THAT'S the light world only chapter
Another option would be that the Knight is a non-corporeal entity that possesses Lightners to open Dark Fountains, similar to the player possessing Kris. That way, there would be both a single Knight, as well as multiple vessels to open the Dark Fountains with.
Maybe a music dark world could be like, a music festival or something? I think it's doable, if for no other reason than Toby is a musician first and foremost so if anyone could expand upon that it would be him. Also if you're worried about being 30 by the time the game wraps up, I'm 30 now so imagine how I feel LMAO.
Honeslty a great theory i blieve in next chapters there could be someone else who opens a dark world not counting The Knight, but also i dont know about undyne or noelle because theres will be the towns carnival wich wouldnt realy come toghether with the hospital or police station dark world, but i defenitly blieve someone probly not knowing acidently will open another dark world.
This is literally the same theory i had. I don’t think it’s the case because I think it’s supposed to follow the same chess theme (king, queen, knight, etc), but It’s definitely a thing toby would do.
16:04 “Because my insides are red and yours are too and the red on my face is matching you and goodness you’re bleeding what a wonderful feeling you’re down and you’re pleading my head is just dealing the red means I love you tasting your blood means I love you”
01:33 01:47 I always see this assumption everywhere, that The Knight personally talked to the King or smth along those lines, but this can literally be boiled down to King just making assumptions because of his hatred for the lightners, like how Queen "Was Just Guessing Based Off The Knight's Actions"
17:30 what if Kris wants to make Undyne's job less boring? They literally made a crime scene out of their house: slashed tires and open door. Those were not necessary steps to make a dark world. When talking to Undyne we can select the option "Dark World" which Kris seems to willingly tell Undyne about once prompted. So maybe Kris wants to make a crime scene for the police to investigate and end up in a dark world?
I think Susie is going to open a dark world in her own house to escape from her abusive home. This can be slotted instead of Undyne because remember, Deltarune is not a sequel. A character like Undyne already had all the time to shine and Susie's abusive household hasn't been used in the story. Regardless I think Susie and Noelle will open dark worlds even if theres only one knight.
