Thank you Doyle another blessing thru A Sunday String-Along. God Bless Brother. I had a big laugh when you showed your album cover; I was a bit busy and looked up quickly and thought I saw George Jones on the cover. I said why does George have Doyle's name on his album. Keep doing what you do Brother⚓
When the desire comes, it is the tree of life…… Thank you Doyle. God spoke to me the moment you quoted that scripture. I’ve been searching and it was right there before me the whole time. Thank so much for listening to the Holy Spirit as He guides your words. God Bless !!
The song "Rock Bottom", written and performed by Atlanta Rhythm Section, and covered by Naomi Judd, is a great lyric in this respect; a dead-end street is just a place to turn around, or when you hit rock bottom, there are two ways to go,... straight up.... and sideways! Wherever you are is where God wants you to be, and if he doesn't want you to be there, it'll soon become clear to you if you listen.
Thank you. If you can't see the face, it's me, look at the channel! Haley, I totally remember your song all these years later and my BESTEE and ME were singing along!
Thank you and God bless you. I know that you know the value of that D-45. I need to go mow my neighbor's yard and mine too. The roofers are coming or the rain. I must be ready for whatever happens, Lord willing. (If the Lord is willing, the creek won't rise, or He will find another path. )
Outstanding message and singing! That album is on RU-vid so I recognized it right off. You may wish to again compose with lyrics included. God is good and faithful and yes, directs our paths of life and we do best if we follow the designed path as best as we can.
I sing and play a 12 string at a local senior care center church service and love these gospel songs you have sung there today. Is it possible to get the guitar tab or sheet music for these songs? God bless your testimony!
When you look back at life, it is difficult to see purpose. But them someone comes along and tells you exactly what you said, that all these things were for a reason. Thanks Doyle.
Again I thank you for such a powerful message, and the praises you give to me and all who watch. Very touching and thank you for the blessing you share with us.
I am a singer-songwriter-guitarist who has sung and played Christian music in a few churches and nursing homes. Your Sunday String Along has become part of my Sunday worship after our church service. I love hearing you play, and can appreciate your amazing finger style. Your singalongs and gentle sermon messages really inspire my playing and my walk with the Lord. I too have a very strong calling on my life-- to bring hope and joy to people through my music, and bring them closer to the heart of God. So thank you, Doyle Dykes, my brother in Christ---✝️🎶
God absolutely molds us through our life in Him. God moved my wife and me many times and we really didn't know what to expect but God always had a purpose and plan for us. From adopting our children to playing His music in His house. God has blessed us beyond what we could have imagined. God bless brother
Listen, to each his own, but so much Christian music is just like a mantra with one or two backing chords. This is true Christian music, from the heart and from the spirit! 🎶
Awe man! I just got a call that you cancelled the Greg Rowel’s Theater in Myrtle beach . I am disappointed but I know you have your reasons! Love you Brother!!!
Doyle, Thank you a timely message for me … doing some demonstrations this week that came to me from a higher place … to the best of my ability I am going to give back … you inspired me .. Dan
It is so pertinent when you spoke about things in the past that have a part in preparing us for the present and the future. At 66 years old, I want to stay motivated and excited about what God has in store in the days/years ahead. Thank you for your inspiration.
When we all get to Heaven I hope I get to sit next to you Doyle in the guitar section of the Heavenly band. I hope you realize how much we that love the Lord also love you. Thank you for blessing our lives. Your music soothes our soul and your words soothes our heart. God bless you. ❤
That first song was really fun(and so excellently played)! Thank you for your faithfulness in giving us these sounds and message every week! God bless you and your family!
Doyle, what a blessing your string a long is!! God is good. I don't believe I have seen a guitar in your collection that I have not admired. You showed your album covers today. I saw the one that appeared to be an Ovation. I couldn't afford one back in 1977. But I bought their cheaper line called Applause. I later added a Barcus Berry stick on pick up. I was intrigued by Glen Campbell playing the " round back" shaped guitar. Speaking of the unqualified lol. I was at a men's breakfast in 1995 they asked for volunteers to lead a class called Promise Keepers it was crickets(lol). Then I raised my hand slowly and volunteered. This is an example of God qualifying the called! I had never ever done anything like that before. It turned out to be something I will never forget. After reading the book "Seven promises of a promise keeper". We went to the L. A. Coliseum for my first promise Keepers event over 50,000 in attendance. What an experience!! Praise God.❤
