Hey all, my name is Cat and I have recently been temporarily laid off from my job as an Airline Pilot due to the current Covid-19 pandemic so I decided to challenge myself to a new "career". I have been mountain biking for a few years now, my best friend Fi introduced me to it, but I have never pushed myself to learn any tricks and just tried to get down the hill in one piece - so now it is time to get outside my comfort zone! Part of the reason for not pushing myself enough at MTB is because I love a few other sports, namely horse-riding, kitesurfing and snowboarding (when I can get to the slopes). This paired with focussing on my career, which I love, has meant I've somewhat ignored improving my MTB skills. Now however I have no excuse, so here goes my attempts to learn Manuals, Bunny Hops, Wheelies, Stoppies and whatever else comes my way, epic fail or not being on Lockdown here in Ireland it will at least keep me busy!
