Would you be up to checking out BABYMETAL? I would suggest starting with live performances of Road of Resistance, and Monochrome from their PIA Arena 2023 concerts, and then Syncopation from their most recent Legend MM 2024 concerts. Definitely check out the first Degenerate video. They hired artists to create an AI video and some people didn't get that. They assumed it was solely AI and gave Starset hate for it. The end scene is Dustin (the lead singer) liking the comment 😆
This is occasionally my favorite Tool album. Bottom, Undertow, and Flood are my favorites from it. You missed something at the very end after the crickets chirping.
it kind of shocks me, california something about it is so damn special something about it churns out genius musicians who could not have come from anywhere else and then those genius musicians write songs about how they wish california would just sink into the fucking ocean, or how it's literally hell, or how it steals peoples' souls, or just that they hate it, HATE IT it happens with such regularity... red hot chili peppers, pink floyd, nirvana, the eagles, electric wizard and of course, tool with this track dream of californication, i guess
11:55 "Leaden anchors" is def the metal, lead know why? because in alchemy, saturn is the planet of lead hence, turn lead to gold "give away the stone let the waters kiss and transmutate these leaden anchors into gold"
How has anyone never heard of Tool before?! If you love rock but more importantly, if you love important lyrics and aound, then there is nothing better then this band!
30:37 Wow...have you considered they probably pulled up a couple minutes earlier, saw you trudging along with an overloaded duffle bag on one shoulder, and a fully loaded Yugioh duel disk on the other and someone said ''Wow, that looks like it sucks...Let him get to the next house'' Like, this does not sound like the 'right place at the right time' scenario to me. More like, the wrong place, at the wrong time, but you were wearing the right clothes. Were you interviewed after? Like, did cops do the stereotypical, 'Did you notice the model of the vehicle, and you said 'Yes' and they said 'What was it?' and you said 'I'm not saying.' and they ask 'Why not?" and you say 'Because they know where I work' and they just nod like 'Fair point. We'll skip that one'
My 2nd cousin worked in the little post office in my little home town. They didn't have an LLV. I'm assuming because the amount of mail for my little home town of 500ish people didn't warrant a whole truck. So I assume the carriers were allowed to use personal vehicles, presumably being reimbursed in some form or fashion. I make this assumption because they always had the non-permanent magnetic ''mail'' sign they had on the roof of their car, like a pizza hut delivery car. That being said, if I'm not just imagining things, when the carriers were buying a new personal vehicle, they specifically looked for something that had a middle seat in the front, or really anything that didn't have a center console or shift stick, specifically so that could sit in the middle, use the gas and break with their left foot, steer and shift with their left hand, all so they could use either window to put letters in boxes, rather than make multiple trips and only use the driver side window to put letters in boxes. And as a very young child, I knew this shouldn't be technically legal to drive like this, so I assumed their vehicles were modified with a steering wheel and gas pedals all in the center of the front seat.
Would you be up to returning to BABYMETAL? I would suggest recent performance of Monochrome, Live at PIA Arena 2023, and Syncopation Live at Legend MM 2024. Monochrome: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8pvxCzhBsTM.html Syncopation: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-x1645-9Sz2w.html
Get ready for a copy strike they love to take down every reaction video cause they are greedy well their label is at least. This band has so many fucking heaters.
The greatest toxic relationship song ever. Eat your heart out Taylor Swift. Managed to push myself away, and you as well my dear. Remember I'll always love you, as I claw your f'ing throat away, it will end no other way... DAMN!!!
Honestly I've watched so many Grudge and Tool reactions in general but your reaction to the end of the song (starting from the scream) is just so goddamn f'ing perfect. Like that is THE penultimate reaction to this song to me. This is what I feel everyone would have to go through when they listen to that part of the song. From the absolute disbelief about that scream to the entire face melting sequence. It's so on point to what I would describe someone reacting to this song would probably look like that I'd say this should be the stereotypical reaction. Thank you for granting us that surprisingly unique visual.
'If when I say I might fade like a sigh if I stay you minimize my movement anyway I must persuade you another way'.. (my favourite part of the song, it is so beautifully haunting).. 'Pushit' is one of my 5 favourite Tool songs.. Along with : 'Descending' 'Flood' 'Lateralus' & Disposition' 🖤🔧🎶🌀
I'm just about to start watching this at like 4:20am Saturday lol !? (I'm going to have to turn my notifications on for your videos and I don't have notifications on for anyyyyyone lol).. I am SOOO EXCITED to watch this!
