Spectacular InfoVid!! Silver emergency blankets would be a great choice. Awhile back, I actually came across a website that gave me a few for Free! I can’t remember who…I’ll certainly check, but if you find them, please refresh my memory, lol! They’re in storage right now, waiting for me to add them to what you did on the video. Don’t forget Vitamins! Gotta keep that Pep in our Step, especially during trying times! Maybe a metal ladder to help one climb from high places, too? Thanks, & keep shining (gotta keep that Positive light 💡,too) & sharing! 😊
They say you should go through your kits twice a year. ⏳⏳ I shared this with my sister. They have a growing family. I used to be LDS, and they would have meetings about putting these together. I didn't think much about it until the situation. Don't forget feminine hygiene products. :)
Deodorant, sharpie, reflective blanket, small towel, feminine products and a cup for pouring that gallon of water and to use for brushing your teeth. A hat in case you need protection from the sun and socks and underwear. Edited to add one more thing: some sort of mosquito repellant.
Your dt is really well stocked! I plan to make emergency kits for my family. My state has had issues with the electric grid, etc 🙄😕 Thank you for sharing your excellent ideas 💡
I got behind on your videos 🙀, so I'm catching up. Great haul! I love the medicine holder. And I *need some of those oil lamp converters. I'm hoping they sell the chimneys to fit. Filling the empty jugs to use for off grid laundry is a great idea. I have wasted so much detergent trying to get the jug clean enough for the recycling bin ( have to wash the trash before throwing it out)
In a true bind... without heat... Canned Vienna Sausages. Apple, Orange, Banana An energy drink can replace the caffeine if you get caffeine withdrawal headaches like I do
Yes its a great idea to pack the 72 hour kit but if someone has to go to an indoors shelter then they do NOT allow heating/cooking food or water, so if you want to take a pull top can of soup or breakfast food,, be prepared to eat it cold. Also don't forget your medical needs and a paper copy of your insurance/medical card.
Plastic sheeting and Duct Tape isn't going to stop radiation, but can be used for so many other things. This isn't going to get you through nuclear war, but it can help in more minor situations or just a getting from A to B situation in relative comfort or just having no water or power for a couple of days after a storm. In my lifetime in the UK, we've experienced no power intermittently for some considerable time thanks to miners' strikes (don't blame them, though), being snowed in with no milk deliveries (daily doorstep deliveries back then), a weekend without running water because of multiple bursts to the mains on the main road and I've watched a couple trying to keep the roof on stables (with horses inside) with rope during a storm. I've also survived on very little food for three days and wish I knew back then what I know now and had had a proper financial and "life skills" education. Preparing for life's problems should be a way of life, but people seem to think the Government will always have their back. They need to wake up.
