They removed the cat chamber and fabricated a link pipe for the new muffler. Did you reroute your pipe through the frame, like in the 2018 models? I’m sure that was a lot of work. I was actually thinking about doing that as well, to get a bit more ground clearance.
It actually wasn't too bad. If buying all duke 390 parts the main issue will be the clamp between the header and intermediate pipe that the 20+ models don't have. Other minor complications are a solenoid that's in the way just needed turned 90° and I had to cut 1.25" off the pipe on the cheap knockoff akropovic slip on to get the muffler bracket to line up.
