This just happen to me today, I didn’t even bother looking inside for screws but it’s 12:19am and now it’s bugging me and I’m gonna have to go look but I appreciate the info.
This is the worst company you could possibly go through. Terrible customer service! Shipping took forever to get here so my local shop was able to take care of me instead. Called to make a return on an item I would no longer need and Jason was completely rude the whole call just stating how he would be losing $100 in shipping if I returned it. I’m sorry your business is doing that bad that $100 is killing you but returns happen at the end of the day. Like I said I old definitely recommend a different company. The exhaust isn’t even all that great anyways. Welding on it is very amateur. But overall I would return anyways after speaking to them on the phone and receiving the worst customer service ever. Have a video of the audio on my RU-vid I’ll be posting today with my business account if you want to listen to this asshole. Once again take your money somewhere else this company does not deserve your business!
You were very close mate but no cigar. The DCCD doesn't send rear ward bias power or front. All the DCCD does it lock or unlock the centre diff. Where the power goes (front/rear) stays the same between all settings. I know you meant well, but you are wrong mate. The DCCD just locks or unlocks the centre diff in varying levels. it's got nothing to do with sending power or torque front or rear or making it more rear bias or making the car more front bias.
Hello there thank you for the video, my S# display does not stay on display when I turn it on, it briefly shows on the display and goes off. Any ideas?
This did happen to me except we bought the car used and it came apart the first time we tried to open it. There are no screws but I can see where there should be. Thanks for posting this. I thought we did something wrong.
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? I've owned this car for almost a year now and no one has told me about this.. Was watching a video on TikTok of some guy who's solenoid went bad and he had a sub blocking his back seat so he couldn't get in. Different car but there was a button on the logo you pushed to open the trunk. Thus my secret to find out if my car indeed has a secret button. First search result my man, and I even clicked on it! Woohoo! However I must be honest, it's 1 am and really fucking cold out, so I'm not dragging my ass outside to see if this is true and I'm just going to have faith that I can show my fiance a fun new trick I learned! Not like it'll matter for him, he's not allowed to drive it so there's no reason for him to have the keys... BUT NONE THE LESS... Thank you for sir, your video has brought me much joy years into the future from it's original posting... Man I'm tired... Edit: the cake was a lie. 😑
With all the tech on this car, you shouldn't need to read a manual to learn how to close the front trunk. Next thing you know, you need to learn how to close the window.
I use Sport# in traffic jams bc it's easier to not stall with this fussy clutch. And correct me if I'm wrong, but DCCD adjustments merely adjust the amount of slip that's allowed F-R in the center diff. Torque apportionment is unaffected, _unless_ you start spinning wheels. RWD feel depends on torque apportionment _without_ even spinning your wheels. I set my C.Diff to manual and all the way back (most "open") - auto implies it's making changes constantly, thus wearing parts faster than a manual (unchanging) setting.
