you have multiple videos of the games i played as a young kid. it's real interesting to see all this revisited. i had this myself on GBA around the age of 10. i had WL2 as well. edit; i can't believe you talked about the manual because it's so memorable i remembered it all these years myself. the "listen to country music while doing pushups" stuck in my mind all these years so im thrilled you picked that out. another one is where he says when he's in his obsess form he "sweats buckets" or something
Every time I think career streamers make bad content, it's "highlights" like these that remind me streaming takes actual skill. Skill that's not present here at all. I guess some people think streaming is just burping into a microphone while they scarf down a burger in one hand and slap a controller in the other.
Wow, where's the jokes about you having diarrhea and how much your parents abused you when you were a kid? I've spent 15 seconds in the video and there's none of that yet. Damn bro, you're really falling off. Those jokes were the only thing your channel had to offer and you've wasted an hour long video without your only defining feature in the first 30 seconds. Not worth my time, bye.
i actually played this game a lot growing up. i had it when i was i think 12 years old. the coolest thing i realized is that me and Wolf actually share the same surname btw, about what you said about fox's design in this game, i remember my sister saying something like how she thought his design was good in melee but "he looks like a little kid now" 😭
That red text under your words is *your English language teacher crying.* Stop making your ESL teacher cry. You can stop that by right-clicking the words that make them cry.
Honestly as someone with ADHD and shit the way you talk feels like you're exactly the same as the running dialogue in my head that is constantly going on it's own tangents wondering about tons of stuff. Please keep making this goated content that catches me off guard with some sus shit you say every 2 mins.
I found x4 really boring. I dont know why people like it more than x3. The only nice looking stage is the spider jungle. There is no memorable music tunes. Even the stage select in x3 has more re listening values than any x4 tune. Also there are no final stages in x4, they are all just shiot 3 enemies and hop over one obstacle and boss. Where is the challenge here?
I really enjoyed your honesty at the end of this one. Will absolutely help how I can man I really enjoyed this video. Going to look up your music now :)
I may have only seen 2 videos of your channel (that's the second) and planning to watch your Tail Concerto video (because holy fuck, no one knows this game, like, seriously, search on RU-vid, you won't find another video remotely close to yours' lenght wise), but I dunno, you just give me the vibe that would love to play Sin and Punishment, would make a killer video
did I hear you say Earthbound is the most influential RPG? Wizardry, Ultima on PC in the west before and even in Japan like Dragon quest are still much more significant and relevant as RPG influences on the industry to come, by the time Earthbound even released the influences on the RPG genre had been years old
Just a lil tidy bit if you didn't know; In the remake (Rescue Team DX) if you evolve your mains they loose the scarf too. So its both an aesthetic and sentimental loss.
It would of been better if it’s released on the N64 since it was introduced on June 23 1996 and it would of been way more beautiful than the snes version like that and Kirby dreamland 2 was supposed to be the true snes game version
I’m glad you mentioned the music. best part of the game. It’s not always easy to transition midi sound tracks to an orchestra but all of the rerenditions of old starfix songs in this game are THE definitive versions of those tracks, ESPECIALLY star wolf theme space battleground kicks ass too. gives me stargate sg1 vibes
Hello I've been watching you since the Tail Concerto video! I think you're really cool. What do you think about making a video about Fuga at some point? Judging by the Mother video you really enjoyed it, and it would be very interesting to hear your thoughts. Kisses❤
"video games rarely if ever have truly bad controls" Spoken truly like someone who's never played star fox zero. It's like trying to play 2 games at the same time. It would be so much better if it was just star fox 64 with motion aiming
I will confess, Mother 1 is my least favorite in the Mother series, but that's in the Mother series. It's like getting bronze in the Olympics: Sure, you lost to some others, but you're still on the damn podium. Mother 1 also has a very unique vibe that has yet to be replicated, and that's something I'll always appreciate. It very successfully captures the feeling of venturing into the world as a child, with no context for how big and overwhelming it can be. There's no time traveling bug to set you on your journey, nothing but yourself and your intuition until you happen upon connecting threads.
My interpretation of the Magma Dragoon post fight has always been the edgier notion of "Zero...you never accepted my requests to fight back when I was a part of the force, and even if you did, I know you'd never go all out. I needed you to see me as a serious threat in order for us to fight the way I always wanted...I'm sorry Zero..this was the only way....."
