We purchased a 1988 Toyota Dolphin RV. We spent 2021 completely gutting and rebuilding it. We are now traveling in it full time! I am an avid hiker, skier, and adventure seeker. We hope you enjoy the RV renovation videos and our travels ❤️ Thanks for checking out my channel! If you haven’t already, don’t forget to Subscribe 😊
Dang that’s awesome! I remember watching your guys’ videos when it was gutted. I have an 89 Toyota dolphin that I’m still working on, I think it’s been about 2 years but that makes sense because it’s just me haha
I am looking at one for $7500, it’s an 89 six cylinder. I don’t know anything about RVs but it looks pretty nice. The engine has been partially rebuilt in the interior. I’m thinking they’re talking about the soft part of the interior and maybe the linoleum. But everything else in it looks nice
Thank you both,, for a truly enjoyable and ~inspiring~ look at fantastic natural life in Washington State~!~ I think you just inspired me, to follow in your footsteps,, in my Toyota Minni-Winny~!~ God Bless~!~
Thank you for this video. I just watched another video that said there was nothing to do in GBNP in the winter. You showed that is wrong. I want to visit there in the month of December. Thanks again.
i just shot mine with acrylic enamel auto paint and it took about a gallon and a half of each. i used an hvlp for the primer with a 1.7 tip and a HTE for the paint with a 1.3 tip. sprayed the window frames and bumper with black polyurethane so theyd be super shiny. for those i used a small hvlp with 1.0 but probably would use the hte if i were doing it again it leaves a killer finish
I have a 1988 Coachmen truck camper with the same type of siding you have. Do you think it's possible to remove the fiberglass siding carefully without cracking it?
As a Canadian, I can vouch that coming into canada has always been the worse experience. There's apparrently a dbag quality they have to have to be employed up here. Enjoy your vids on the Rockies/Selkirks. I live just west of them and have visted many times.
Do you have any plans for window shades/blinds/insulation? Nice looking redo and excellent solar set-up. I wish you had left the enclosure for the toilet, but if you don't entertain much you can make-do.
Do you know about starting and ending any Diesel heater burn with a few moments spent on “HIGH” in order to clean the carbon build up off the internals. Also, I really like all that you have done in this remodel. It is sooooo open and airy in there. Nice job removing the ridiculous space-eating bathroom that seems to come in these Toyota motorhomes.
Why ,??? Those toyota camper are good, the roof is made of aluminum. All you had to do it remove the vents, A.C. , fan. Etc and re-seal it them all and pain the roof , and its brand new again
@@KikisAdventures I lived in a vintage tailer for one year. the best thing is a AC heat ,flushing toile, shower and shore power for JUST IN CASE .Taking these wonderful vintage essentials out is so sad as you altered the historic foot print and repalaced it with a handmade clumsy collection of plywood painted boxes . You have electronic connections but now no way to live comfortably meeting basic human needs such as private bath, AC, heat VENTS for humidity . You clearly did all this without knowing what it is like to live in a small camper. I have lived the lifestyle so i have learned . I love vintage campers especially these old Toyotas and it breaks my heart to see what you 2 did to those vintage RV . someday i hope when you see you have made some serious errors and sell it the new buyer can restore it back to the way it was they can find the parts. No way will you get 30 k or 50 k for the primitive rv it now worth less then what you paid for it .
You talk as if they desecrated a national shrine. They took a worn out piece of shit and made it their own. Who in the world cares what YOUR opinion is? Get a life. lol.
