Honestly, it was to avoid buying another 4 x 8 sheet of wood. Haha, it works for me though because I put totes in the drawers to organize everything.

How far do the drawers go back? Can you give dimensions of drawers? 2 4x8 sheets of plywood? Love your setup!

Thank you!! The drawers are 43 inches long, 18.25 inches wide, and 4.25 inches tall. We used three 4x8 sheets of plywood.
