My name is Jose Briones. I am a small content producer that focuses on digital minimalism devices, concepts, and ideas. I hope you learn something and apply it to your life. Let me know if you have any questions, I always reply :)
I love my phone 2! You’re the reason why I got it! It’s my 2nd light as I lost the first one. Also would you haven to have a discount code for their website I need a light phone new case 😅 and I always search for those discount codes b4 I purchase anything….lol jw
I have made videos about this device for 5 years and covered it from different angles, livestreams, and other videos. You insinuating this is a paid ad is laughable.
What’s your take on the timestamp issue with the Nokia devices regarding the text messaging? I have the Nokia 215 and the text messages being all over the place is driving me crazy haha!
Just bought this for 55 bux canadian, on sale! Figured I would give it a try, still love my light phone 2, but its cool to switch to sim into something where you can truly disconnect from music podcasts, and it will be a great first phone for my daughter when she turns 9!, great phone for to bring on my hikes! Is it water proof?
i want to buy this more my parents. they are 70s years old. But the Letters looks so small. I am afraid their eye sight isnt good enouh to use this, Is there an option to make Letters and numbers bigger
Had it for a year now. A lot more expensive than your average dumbphone, but I don't regret it at all! I see it as a long term investment. The only issue I have is that directions almost never works for me. Always goes into offline mode automatically. But I don't use it that much so it's alright for now
I do appreciate the content and philosophy of these videos, but IMHO the smartphone/dumbphone discussion incorrectly puts the emphasis on the wrong area. All technology is, by default, dumb. It's the manner in which users use the technology that makes any particular technology smart or dumb. You can use technology mindfully, or mindlessly. "Dumbphone" vrs. "smartphone" is just a marketing ploy to sell another piece of technology someone has created. My Google Pixel 7 is just as dumb or as smart as I want it to be. I believe in and practice minimalist approaches to life, but again it's my opinion that the responsibility for having a minimalist life starts with the user. More emphasis should be placed on improving human behavior rather than inventing more technology. Every phone comes with a button that immediately makes it dumb - an off switch.
Hello Jose! what will I see on LP2 screen if someone sends me: 1) a photo 2) a printscreen. I am thinking about LP2 because Nokia C3-01 that I am using sometimes irritates people I talk to on this phone because the connection gets worse sometimes.
What are the security concerns with the Google version F22? Given it is my understanding that it is a cracked phone, doesn’t receive security updates from Google, and is a Chinese company. I ended up buying it but haven’t opened it because of this reason. I currently have an iPhone.
Can you do a video of what it's like texting on a keitai phone? I've been considering getting one but the texting experience is what's making me hesitate.
I just bought the CC Iris Flip.( 9-16-24 ), because I had read and heard about the voice to text. That was the number 1 selling point for me. Smart phones have gotten too smart (tech) for me but I love the texting keyboard. So, I need step by step instructions to use this phone that will text for me from my voice speaking the message to be sent. Please.
If you bought the IRIS Flip and not the easy flip you should be able to use KaiVA on the messaging app by holding the middle key of the arrows when composing a text.
@@JoseBriones This will be my 3rd try to reply and thank you for your reply . Sure enough, I did get the Iris Easy Flip. Is this a dead end for talk to text? If so, back to the exchange line. I hope I live long enough to text my daughter and grandkids. LOL.
It got through! If your device doesn't have it, then there has to be an update that blocked it. Most units should have it. I would consult with CC about it.
Unfortunate that cat phones seem to have been discontinued, so we wont see a true successor to the s22 that works in the US until these Japanese companies realize there's a digital minimalist market here.
