I love your work. I discovered you yesterday listening to sawdust and diamonds. It spoke right into my mind. I don't like this reverb cave😅. It sounds like someone playing the piano without changing the sustain pedal. I wonder if it would sound good somehow if the reverb notes were harmonised with.
This came up on my feed, I honestly thought "oh no... this cant be good". Well Sir, call me impressed. Beautiful sound, vocals, arrangement. After "only skin", "Emily" is my fave song, and Ive never heard anyone cover JN well. No one sounds like her... no one should try! But You did it your way and its excellent. Great job!
your joanna newsom reverb covers brought me here; then i had to check out your cover of 'sawdust and diamonds,' one of my faves, only to find that you covered one of my favorite mount eerie songs, too!! oddly this song was stuck in my head while making tea just the other morning and i sang it in my empty kitchen, though i hadn't heard it or thought of it in some time, and now i find this video... weird how that happens!
