As someone who makes potato salads this is nowhere near the best potato salad. The best yet is diced potatoes, diced lunch meat, diced onions, boiled eggs, green peas. Add both Mayo and sour cream into the mix with it being 2:1 ratio 2 parts mayo, 1 part sour cream. Adding too much sour cream makes it too runny and watery and will expire quicker. Add salt and let it reat for 30 mins and its perfect.
its funny i made something almost exactly like this recently and its become my go to for steak sauce, my variation is just, the pan butter, milk, bleu cheese, parmesean, black pepper heated and well mixed. pair it with some tomato pesto pasta and a salad or some roasted veggies, delicious
