Just got one today. It looks like if you remove the 3 screws on the "shroud" the watch drops down out of the shroud and bracelet instead of the shroud coming up off and leaving an intact watch like every tuna video I've seen. I can't find a video of removing the screws on this model.

Hi can someone help I have the black dial with silicone strap .I want to change it to a stainless steel braclet I just don't no if u can does the blue dial braclet fit ?
This might be a controversial opinion, but I find it hard to justify the price jump between the SRPE93 Turtle to the SPB151/153/237 Willard. Sapphire crystal isn't/shouldn't be that expensive. I also prefer the 21,600 vph beat rate of the SRPE93 which in theory would reduce wear & tear and maintenance. I also prefer the more symmetrical aesthetics of the SRPE93 Turtle (which is why I bought one). I suppose heritage/hype drives prices up...had Martin Sheen worn the 6309 instead of the 6105 on Apocalypse Now, I'm sure today we'd see a more expensive SRPE93 with sapphire crystal and a cheaper SPB151/153/237 with Hardlex.
I have one in gold and i will never sell it , it doesnt wear that big and the matte gold resembles a light brass tone so not onoxious at all, overall a unique and tastefull piece
I hereby suggest to call the SRPD27 the "Guinnes Monster"! I just bought this watch an the colours of the watch the beer match perfectly - 100%! It's not a clean black, but a very dark brown, and the lume and the bezel is a very light brown-beige, Just Like the Guinnes head. Beautiful!
This Seiko GMT Kinetic model are werry good with rosegold i seen other kinetic i find it moore value comparing and timeless when i look in window at clocks from Seiko newer than this maybe is the Gold and for sure the strap must bee in change when you wear this in water battery are in this model 1 class must say Bravissimo ☆☆☆☆☆
Great content! It looks like you are in the Philippines. Are there any watches or models that are better priced here than elsewhere? I was shocked to see Timex watches 3x the price compared to the US. Love the Seiko brand. Your vintage watches look awesome!
Not really impressed with the watch I have to say. Personally I’ve switched more to the solar prospex divers for ease of use and grab and go reasons. Plus they are larger than the Seiko 5’s mostly so more legible. Wearing re-issue Seiko Arnie on my wrist these days 🙂
I have the sbed003 bought years after this for $980 new old stock. Love it no one knows what it is and information is scarce on it. Only bad thing probably hard to sell as it’s obscure and needs a particular person to buy.
The 237 is a great looking watch ,the nato strap just sets it off, single pass nato would make it sit perfect and using a 1.2 mm or 1.3mm strap would be even more comfortable. The metal strap is nice but the nato suits it better,and if used for intended purpose, diving ,surfing etc,if you knock it hard and lose a spring bar,you will still not lose. Original choc bar style strap or tropic would be nice to. The only downfall of the nato is the salt water and repeatedly getting wet dry. I have few so after using in water ,change to a fresh one. Olive,grey,blue,coyote .All those would look brilliant on this particular model. After seeing the video, going to be on the hunt for one . Thanks for posting up.
The blue captain Willard is my favorite. The build quality is not subpar - my new one had a poorly cut thread on the screw down crown, but at least the alignment is decent. It looks sharp but the build quality for a $1300 watch leaves a bad taste.
