@@ronaldpagar6513 I already know that the G5 Writers are still using Twilight Sparkle in G5 as References in Tell Your Tale Season 2 Episodes: 5 and 11 despite the Studios still owning Friendship is Magic and Twilight. and I also already know that we are waiting to see what Hasbro and the G5 Writers are going to do with Skyros in the future.

The special after this is looking like it’s going to be about Sunny and Pipp, and the last special will be about the entire new Mane 6 cast. But on the bright side, we can always look forward to Zipp and Pipp starring in a regular episode. :)
Yes, I’m so excited for the second special it’s so crazy!!! Love to see more worldbuilding as that’s part of what makes mlp, and a central story as well. My 2 guesses is that maybe it’ll be about Alphabittle and Queen haven’s wedding or maybe them finding more clues toward the ancient civilization of Alicorns. That’s just my quess though, anyway great videos as always!❤
Hawk Nightwing. I also kind of hope that the Second Special will have a Scene where Allura talks about her Past after she is mad about the Nova Charm being split into 6 pieces in the Blockywockies. We would be curious to see what her and Twitch are going to do next after we last saw them in the First Special. I also hope that Allura's Flashback Scene will be interested like Opaline's Flashback Scene in Make Your Mark.
I agree, sir, that with the prospect of the next Tell your Tale special coming this month eventually, it's also important how one must keep the expectation low and not higher, as you must make absolutely sure to be prepared for the possibility of the plot of the special episode might lead into something unexpected. Regardless on whether the special episode is a hit or not, I'm pretty sure that the upcoming special will be quite a unique story that none of the fans of MLP G5 will ever forget. It wasn't released in August, but of course it will be released sooner or later and I can't wait I doubt it will be a wedding episode (like some theories/leaks stated) but special with Izzy and Sunny would probably be peak but at least Comet is back and I hope Destiny will return someday too (I wish they brought the concept of ponies turning into sea ponies from comics to TYT)
"August" release date was for when TYT was released weekly. At the current rate of release the second special will be anywhere between December 8th 2024 and April 7th 2025.
@@VcSaJen Well, you never know. Considering they finally have their airing calendar sorted biweekly, they might still stick to the August release date providing nothing else goes wrong behind the scenes.
@@PresidentOfTheNewLunarRepublic I wouldn't put it past them, but that would be even worse: it would be basically a leak/early release, and would contain spoilers to many upcoming TYT episodes, and we would lack context for the special to properly understand it.

I really want those two to go on an adventure two a tropical island with some sort of temple of forgotten creatures and see gallus from g4 mlp that would be awsome
@@awesomekidstv5290 Personally, I think Make Your Mark was the end of G4 callbacks outside of a couple pieces of background iconography. Heck, when we finally see Skyros, it might be entirely new alicorns. But who knows? Maybe we’ll see TYT-animated Twiggy, in which case…cool!

That's really confusing she didn't have to do that besides that tapestry shows that Sunny is the chosen one so what do you think of that?
This was a very interesting upload. I too also want to see more of the world in G5 and get back into the Allura plot again. And as you said, only time will tell whether the special episode releases.
It's almost certainly too soon to find Skyros; I'm guessing that that might be the fourth special. However, at least one of the ongoing subplots needs to be addressed. Allura and her brother is as good an idea as any.
I can't wait to have a special episode for Tell your Tale and also the answers to our questions about the past of Allura and Twitch / Sunny Starscout's mother and all her history but also the truth about Opaline Arcana
I definitely want to see more of Allura, again. She may be upset about the Nova Charm, and that could lead to something with her. I wonder when she will start to have a bigger role and will start to hypnotize others like she did before, in her introduction, as that is one of my favorite things about her. I love hypnotic villains. And also, if we can find out about her brother as well, that would be awesome at some point. As the new villain, they have to do something with her at some point, mostly in the specials. As for Comet, I think he will be back at some point. Not sure when, and why we have not seen him yet this season, but hopefully he returns soon.
I'm afraid there will no be a special on August. Probably they will delay it until November. Why? The original plan had considered the episodes of TYT to be weekly, and for a month or so they were so. However, since they change the calendar to be bi-weekly, it means we still have a long time to way . Sorry to burst your bubble, but probably is bet to consider that now and not be the rest of the year disappointed for a special that may not arrive when you expected.
@@GrimWolf001 Everyone keeps telling me that, and I certainly acknowledge it as a possibility, hence why I said “barring any unfortunate release date delays.” However, we have no way of knowing for sure. Maybe it will arrive on time this year, maybe it won’t, but considering they got their schedule sorted months ago, it’s reasonable for me to assume everything else will release on time. If not, well…feel free to tell me “I told you so.”
Also add in the fact that the first special ("The Blockywockys") came out 3 weeks after it was supposed to. Not saying I want it to happen, but I wouldn't be surprised it the special came out much later. TYT has a real issue with its scheduling since the 1st season
For my wishlist, I want Allura to come back because we haven’t seen her in a while and her storyline needs to be continued. Also, a couple months ago a new TYT song was leaked that was Allura singing and saying that she isn’t really a bad guy but just misunderstood. I think this song might be in this special. But overall, I don’t want to get my hopes up too much for my wishes not coming true. After all, having the wrong expectations is what made a lot of people turn on G5 just because they expected it to be different when people should just like G5 for what it is and stop complaining about how it’s not how they want it.
I'm excited for what tell your tale bring in the future but i do miss comet and violet frost and also we haven't seen the other dragons like spike since the end of make your mark i know that g4 fans love to bash on his design in g5 and think that his role in g5 is disrespectful to g4 but still I'm wondering about it.
I am wondering about the second special of season two of tell your tale, but I'm still wishing for another special of Make your Mark, with a little Twilight sparkle, in another Make your Mark special, or in the second Tell your Tales special, Tell your Tales doesn't really show Twilight sparkle in it
Funny how "everyone" is turning on TYT at a time when its views have been higher than ever. It's almost like the kind of people who like to complain and doom about G5 any chance they get aren't the majority. The second special is likely going to get delayed, but I don't care if we have to wait a long time for it so long as it's high-quality, which it likely will be. For my wishlist, I just want Comet. Well, Allura too, but mostly, just Comet.
@@CloudMistDragon I saw your mini essay on the views and I agree to a certain extent. However, this goes way beyond the people who are just doom and gloom about G5 in general. It’s existing fans too who are dropping off now. Look at DJ Axel. If my point wasn’t already proven in my initial review, it is now, and I really wish it wasn’t. I love to be right, mind you, but it’s times like these where I’d do anything to be wrong. I’ll be making another video soon about what I think of all this current discourse towards the show as to me, the situation is far more complicated than you probably think it is. At the moment though, I’m sending out an open draft on Fimfiction with the hopes of bringing more of our still loyal fans out of the woodwork to create their own RU-vid channels and join the frontlines in fighting for G5. But as for your wishlist, yeah, I want Comet and Allura back too. I don’t care what they do with him at this point, just bring him back in an episode and it’s guaranteed an automatic 10/10. That’s how desperate I am to see my boy back in action since his absence is by far the only thing genuinely wrong with the season outside of the continued overuse of baby ponies. Hopefully like Smoke said, he’ll be back in the December special.

In fact there's been HUGE gaps between the three "mane" ones! (s1e15 Making a Foal of Me, s1e63 Nightmare Market, and now s2e17 Tiny Trot)(Plenty of time, no?😏) Also, where else in s2 have we seen any baby Mane 6 (besides Written in the Starscouts)? Also, thinking about the ep some more, I retract a bit on my saying it's just fluff, cause there is some definite worldbuilding going on in here, even if it's on a smaller scale, exploring a new corner of the Boardtrot, a whole new world (lol), and a new aspect of the magic, plus the cause of babyfication is a more sound and intriguing foundation than the "magic glitter" (ugh lame) in previous eps. And that's where I think this ep is actually an improvement over the other two! (definitely improved all around over "Foal of Meh"😴 at least, heh heh; Nightmare Market, however, did have that real emotional heart with Alphabittle&Misty so I can still say that's the best of the three; and this one's a close second for its creativity and fun, offering a fresh take and divergence from what we usually see from "baby shenanigans" episodes, plus there's everything Smoke has said about it [including the Hitch&Sparky wholesomeness 🥰]) 😏 I guess this is a benefit to liking the ep, being more open to it, and rethinking expectations on it, as I continue to see more to enjoy and appreciate, have new insights on it, defending it with a passion. . . @@Longma1 Yeah, you’re right about the trope not exactly being “overused.” Maybe I’ll come around to the episode eventually, but right now, I just can’t see what you guys like about it. Now that we have an actual good episode (today’s episode) to take its place however, I am more than willing to move on from it. It’s occupied more space in my head than what should be healthy for me, and it’s best that I let the episode’s stink just fade away with time. We’re on to the next slate of bangers from the looks of today’s episode, so it looks like I finally have something positive to talk about. :)

Because we haven't seen what that place looks like and Maybe some chances that twilight sparkle , flurry heart and luster dawn might be alive in Skyros along with every creatures of Equestria ( besides dragons and seaponies ofc) and old location of G4 as well. @@drewluczynski9609 It was in the 2024 marketing slides that were released last year on EQD. One of the images shown was that of the four specials and their release dates, with the starring characters shown in front of all of them. “The Blockywockys” was all about Izzy, this next one is about Sunny and Izzy, the third special will be about Sunny and Pipp, and the fourth special will star our entire new Mane 6 together. Hope that makes sense.

Wow this video aged quickly, turns out the second episode of the month was not the special! Hasbro lied to us again! It was good to see Comet again but I was not expecting it to be a regular episode I thought it would be the special! Where's the special? Is it cancelled or postponed?
@@kingtechnology9350 If the schedule is anything like “Blockywockys,” it’s reasonable to believe that’s next on the agenda after this last episode. After all, the first special came out Ep 9 to mark 10 episodes of the season. I think if trends continue, that’s what’s happening here. Now that we’ve had Ep 19, the second special will come out next to mark 20 episodes.

I am obviously going to care about the quality of this special. It better be fucking good, it better *fucking* be. I have high hopes for it, but... we'll definitely have to see if it can live up to or even surpass what we already have. But as for the characters, we need more done with them. If Allura is coming back, -- which she should, because you shouldn't just completely neglect your *main villain* -- then she should do more this time around. Not just reflecting on her loss, but have an active role in the plot, instead of just being background fodder like last time. A good villain can help tie into the themes of a piece of work, and My Little Pony should be no exception. Just look at all of the previous antagonists in this genration alone. And speaking of... is it realistic? Probably not. But you never know... *Comet* could come back. Again, I doubt it, but he could get involved in some way. If not now, hopefully before or by the time we get to the final special of the season by December. Secrets of Starlight was the second Christmas special of Make Your Mark, after all. *And let's not forget Sprout and Phyllis. If they aren't going to show up in a regular episode anytime soon, they should at least show up in one of the upcoming specials.* And all of these characters should have a starring role in one of these episodes. No better way to restore some faith in this generation than to bring back the characters that people have been missing (that aren't from G4), and actually do them justice.
@@SmokeTheHorsehog Yeah, that does make sense. Considering we’re gradually getting close to the holidays, I think that would be a perfect time to bring Comet back and if they do, I’ll be so happy. But at this point, I am getting a little tired of waiting, and it might be too late by the time they do. They positioned him as a main character at the end of Season 1, and then did nothing with it for the past 17 episodes. It might be too late for them to just pretend like nothing happened unless they have a really good explanation for why he’s been gone so long, or why nopony has ever mentioned him since. I don’t like to be this pessimistic, but Comet’s absence for me is by far the only thing genuinely wrong with this season outside of…well, you know, the overuse of baby ponies. Still, if they do bring him back in December, I’ll try to give whatever explanation they have, or lack thereof, a pass regardless. I just want my boy back, and for the writers to actually do something with him.

If they were willing to show Starlight Ridge again, but instead use a completely new character, then there's more evidence as to him not coming back. But it's my guess that it might have to wait until the holiday, based on the release dates of episodes of Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale that he did appear in. - Make Your Mark Chapter 6 released on November 23, 2023. Compare this to Winter Wishday, which came out on November 21 of the previous year, despite it being a Christmas special (November is Christmas time according to the market, to the point it was even parodied(?) in the 2022 Mariah Carey commercials.). - Crystal Ball released the same day as Chapter 6, as Comet made his debut in Secrets of Starlight. Much like how they did that with the release of Maretime Bay Day 2.0 coinciding with the Make Your Mark pilot's release. - Then comes Snow Business Like Show Business, which *actually* released during the holiday season on December 21, 2023. And this was Comet's last appearance, as of late. I could definitely be wrong, for we may never see Comet ever again... and well, we'll have another situation of Rachel Wilson from The Amazing World of Gumball. And it's not like this franchise hasn't done this before, essentially erasing characters once they come around to become important in some way. *Diamond Tiara* and *Stygian* most notably. Buuuuuut, if my theory is correct and it is the most likelihood given that pattern, it'll be unfortunate that we have to wait so long for him to return, but hey, he could come back anyway.

Honest to Luna, I have given Hasbro a lot of grace throughout this whole situation, constantly making excuses for their incompetence with scheduling. But at this point, I can’t anymore. Oh well. @@poseybloom55 Yeah, I do agree with him, actually. I just watched the video and I’m shocked that he likes Tell Your Tale, or rather…any aspect of G5. But I am certainly happy about that. I guess he is better than Star Strike in the fact that while he doesn’t like one aspect of G5, he’s more than willing to give the other part of it a chance. Honestly, he made me appreciate “Buried In A Good Book” a whole lot more.
