Will slay kill chicory? What about seedlings that are a month or so old. I have had to over seed clover in plots so some of my clover is a year old and some are a month old
If you don’t mind me asking what part of the country do you live in? I’m in MN and debating whether to mow before fall again. First frost should be in about a month. No sure it will have enough time to grow back and fill up thick.
larry umphfrey I could be wrong but it looks like a KUNZ mower. Very nice mowers, but they are pricey. They’re also very dependable so I guess you get what you pay for.
I don't know why people stress about weeds; deer eat them too. Forbes are a large part of their diet. I only spray for grass, and mow to keep the 'weeds" down somewhat. I don't want to kill my chicory in the clover.
Do not mow when the Almanac says prune to discourage or kill weeds. Cutting weeds on Leo will best to kill them. The same goes for plants you want. Cut your food plot on prune to encourage days and you will be pleased. Add fertilizer according to the Almanac to get your moneys worth.
