Welcome to our channel. All the weapon systems are like books. They tell us their stories. The Weapon Detective investigates these books, reads between the lines, analyse, and tells the untold. At the dawn of the Second Cold War, the fruits of new projects give us clues about the future. But current weapon systems also have their own stories. You can find in our videos technical information, historical backgrounds, what happened during the development processes, combat experience and political projection. Let's investigate the weapons together when the Second Cold War is rising.
WHY NOT SOLD TO MANY NATIONS? RUSSIA IS CAREFUL TO WHICH NATIONS IT SELLS THESE MISSILES. THE LATEST IS GREECE THAT WAS DENIED THE MISSILES. HENCE INDIA GOING IN FOR TOTAL INDEGINOUS PRODUCTION. SIMPLE AS THAT!
Why? Like your Tejas, you need to give out as a donation like you did the Philippines and the Armenians otherwise it’s not going to go anywhere… You have to understand one thing, the KF/21 is making great inroads into the defend needs market not because it’s Korean, but rather, kit’s cuz Lockheed Martin Northrop Grumman and Boeing inside it… KAI is just brand name…. Similarly, if Iran couldn’t fix its Qazam whatever you call it all these years and Turkey, a member of NATO, come out rag to riches with a KAAN, then you know what you can do with your AMCSA… Keep trying Major! Keep trying! Distress call here Dassault! SOS call here Dassault! Please help! .
Having 4 engines causing more disruption with sensors for detection from what UK trial found out thus UK went with more expensive P8. P1 also made an error with claim that S Korean destroyers used targeting radar on them when they were using detection radar to rescue N Korean fisherman.
Philippines only bought it with Indian government financing! Chinese developed their own version of P-800 but abandoned the idea. Its use by the original manufacturer Russia has been limited in Ukraine war!
The 4 turboprops of the C-130 have some advantages regarding resilience. Many C-130s are used for special operations. C-130s landed with 1 engine left and started with 3 working engines. It’s a highly overpowered aircraft - for a reason.
With 2300% rise in indian defence exports, it was a matter of time the arms lobby started instigating these baseless claims . Main job is to stop the indian nationaistic trend increas
Many Nations have requested for an Air launched Brahmos of 300kms, plus India itself is negotiating with all the Armed forces to rearrange for a Rocket-based Theatre Command.. Not that I hate people's criticism on comment section, but remember that Indian National Congress following Gandhi-ism limitted mostly all Armed Forces mobility. Costing LoC and LAC of India to Pakistan and China for "peacefool negotiations" "A fool's errand of Congress that compromised National security" according to now PM Narendra Modi.. Hence you see our PM more aggressive in 10 years just because of National security interests, ignored for nearly 60 years..🇮🇳🙇
That's the main reason even after 75 years of independence we are still not that capable as we should. We have a progress a lot with much faster process speed. Thankfully current govt is taking matters seriously.
there are many reasons of less export success for brahmos even if its a capable missile. first is less diplomatic influence of india as compared to france, america and england. second, again india is a developing country while western exporters are developed which plays psychologically against india but recent scientific achievements like moon landing sent out a positive image. third, there's corruption, kickbacks, honeytraps, diplomatic pursuations engaged to sell such big ticket items and india is not ready for such acts becasue these missiles are developed and manufactured by government companies whereas western military contractors (private entities) can go to lengths to pursuade their potential buyers.
The only reason is India is not good at marketing..and we don't solely focus on marketing as indian army procurements are enough to manufacture products for years. Meanwhile in other countries the the companies has to do marketing as their domestic market is not enough to fulfill the profits for product
At least for BrahMos true localization of parts happened and still happening. Adani's Drishti-10 is just a screwdriver job by Adani, it literally is just the Hernes 900.
@@sidewinder3422 Adani defense didn't have prior experience in manufacturing drones so they're making Hermes 900 under licence production but in future they will come forward with their own products. Chinese defense companies used the very same strategy back in the 1970s but now they're making their own equipment.
6:58 - Point of clarification, that setup in the picture is only a mock-up. It was made by the Philippine Army for a demo, and preceded the first deliveries of the BrahMos to the Philippines. We still have not seen the TEL setup for the BrahMos systems to be operated by the Philippine Marine Corps, who are the first export users of the system ahead of the Philippine Army.
@@HimanshuMahajan-zn3nq Hezbollah, Syria, and Vietnam got the land based (export) variant while Indonesia refitted 2 of its old ex-Dutch frigates and mounted Yakhont on its hangar.
1.New NG variant will have speed of 3.5mac 2.Now Bhramos can be controlled after launch. 3.India has successfully developed fuel which is used in flight tragetory. 4.Plan is to make Brahmos 100% Indian.
Weapon detective, why do you allow such misleading comments and do not block them? Those who see them will have wrong thoughts about the video. Although you said "Brahmos is one of the most capable and fastest anti-ship/cruise missiles... this missile has many game-changer features... with its outstanding performance, the Brahmos is among the best in its class... India has all right to be proud of it... the high speed of the current Brahmos is enough to make it one of the deadliest anti-ship missiles available... Brahmos' design philosophy has changed naval warfare concepts. The future of the BrahMos seems brighter.." in the video, they make it look like you're talking bad about Brahmos. Obviously, they're trying to make your channel bad and not watch your videos.
Not a good video. You folks spent most of the video describing the product not explaining why there have been no completed sales and deliveries of the weapon. If you are unable to perform such analysis stop making this type of video and go back to rehashing weapon systems like many other amateur RU-vid channels focusing on this topic.
Our videos have always contained the historical background, programme history and features before the analysis. It is our style. We have separated them on the bar. You can easily skip the previous parts via the bar if you do not want to watch them.
comparing them to full sized fighting vehicles one might also mention that you can get 8-10 for the price of one full sized IFV. Lets mix 3 20mm cannon, 2 atgm, 2 transport (4 troops each), an anti air, a med evac and a mortar unit and you get way more capability than one IFV. Oh and you can maintain them in a civilian garage. And one enemy hit only costs you 1/10th of your operational capability. Did i mention their ground pressure is so low they don't activate antitank mines? imagine a hundred of those racing over a russian minefield in ukraine instead of a tank company following a narrow path and being picked off by atgms and two tanks.
These are the RCN’s only class of warship. Twelve of these CPFs, of which a third of which are operationally available in peace-time at any one time, is…well, indicative of almost six decades worth of decline. All other hulls are not fit to fight anything but slow small boats in coastal waters….and even these little ships are not available in quantity. Some are completely unarmed. All are lacking in sensors…even the new “large” AOPS are toothless and not fit for much of anything do do with combat. Calling them “Arctic” patrol ships is hilarious. The are the lowest class of icebreaker that can be called an icebreaker…they are summer Arctic ships with a pea shooter (25mm bushmaster) and a helo deck for the radically unreliable Sikorsky Cyclones… Canadian military personnel deserve better as does the citizens of Canada. It seems that the Canadian federal government is grossly mismanaged, especially the Department of National Defense’s procurement process. Billions of dollars have been pissed away from a very tight budget that is not even close to Canada’s NATO “recommended” commitment of 2% of GDP. This is not news…over a half century of neglect is what it is. If anybody ever wants to stop the RCN, all they’d have to do is declare that the approaches to Halifax and Esquimalt harbours have been mined with AI equipped mines, waiting for specific targets. The RCN would be paralyzed. It’s pretty safe to say the RCN personnel go to work every day in cemeteries ashore, or for the hulls with crews assigned to them, to coffins. The RCNs funeral happened a long time ago. 😮
I suggest a little correction to your video: Germany's A310MRTTs have been retired in 2022 and are replaced with A330MRTTs that have a boom refueling system. These aircraft are operated by a multinational unit based in the Netherlands (therefore sport NL-registrations), but four are permanently stationed in Germany. So by the time the P-8 arrives in Germany, there is also an aerial refueling capacitiy availlable.
