I've always gotten a chuckle out of this one. "A duck's quack doesn't echo and scientists don't know why." Not true, but it's been around so long I think there are still people that take it as gospel.
Its not that simple, yes centrifugal force can give the illusion of gravity, but unless you make it incredibly gigantic there would be a noticeable difference between the gravity your feet are experiencing and the gravity your brain is.
I like the AIs for advice. People often give advice bases off of their own emotional responses rather than logical weight of either option. I think AI could be used to help decide on creativity, but I don't think that a text based response thing is going to practically be creative in a fully autonomy way.
Some of the numbers here are utter nonsense. Take, for instance, +32 years life expectancy difference, or 6 ft of DNA. It ruins the rest of it for me, in a way.
Im not in the overlap but on some ground that is hard and wthout grass i actually saw alll the holes in the ground and all the cicadas+molted skin on a treee
My guess is that they are able to count years due to hot/cold temperature cycles and years are counted similar to an hour glass with depleting metabolic resources or perhaps in this case something like a protein unwinding.
please dont use arab and/or persian world. instead use islamic or islamicate (if you are ultraliberal). otherwise you made grave historical error by leaving out many scientists who had different ethnicity and the whole reason why arabs/persians couldnt do science before.
Just because AI can come up with more answers, more quickly and some of those answers may be good, doesn't mean they're more creative. First they needed humans to build and train them, obviously. Then, they needed humans to decide if the answers were good or bad. Either way, if you want someone to consistently come up with at least close to a good answer, you'll want a human, because AI will sometimes give an answer that is so wrong that no human would ever give it.
Even tho I played the pmdg 737 alot, I still wouldn't say I can land a 737 😅 but with an expert guiding, it would probably help set it up for an auto land.
Why can't planes be removely operated in case of emergency? If not directly operated, at least having a back and forth of basic data so that the auto pilot can be programmed remotely
